Very nice footage of this beautiful road and good informative comments during the video. We visited the Transalpina road last August (also via Poiana Sibiului and Jina). I can only add: try the pancakes in the little kiosk at the Taul Bistra dam. But avoid the little toilet cabin near the top of the road!

tripment indeed! I was visiting him every summer and stayed on their cabins for few weeks. Wonderful times. he was deployed for couple years in the area with all construction team

It's called Langosi: has cheese, sour cream and garlic. Or you can have it sweet. Its my favorite food.

Dude, dafuq ?!? How could u not ask someone to buy that dessert for u ? Romanians are friendly people. I promise u someone would've bought one for you. Or at least, ask someone to change a 50€ into Romanian lei. So sad u didn't think about that. No one would've judged, I promise u !!! Greeks and Romanians are equally friendly to foreigners. Bare this in mind on your next road trip to Romania ;)
