@@santimio4098 it really was a great cruise. It was in late November. We had thanksgiving dinner at a Mexican specialty restaurant. Lol

So I'm guessing that laundry is not included in the fare in the Haven? I am Platinum so i get one bag free., but for the price of Haven fares I would expect at least one bag free per guest in the Haven.

There was no free laundry in the Haven for us. We were in the lowest level Haven cabin. I'm not sure if the higher cost suites got better benefits. They charged us $29 for a bag and I heard that the non-Haven guests had smaller bags. Regardless, after decades of being gouged in hotels, I thought the charge was very reasonable.

@JonKaye true that it's reasonable if it is a larger bag than outside Haven, but my Platinum free bag better be honored.

1. it should not take longer than 4-5 days to cross the North Atlantic and 2. the NCA Viva is not rated for the Northern Atlantic. It is not an ocean liner - it is barely a ship.

Correct and correct. The cruise ship sails slowly and indirectly. My guess is to make it so detours can be taken to avoid bad weather or for emergencies. And the Viva is not an ocean liner but it needs to transfer between Europe and the Caribbean making transatlantics necessary.

​@JonKaye I have been on 172ft Navy ships like the USS Blakely FF1072 crossing to the Mediterranean from Charleston SC and I thought cruise lines knew that crossing the Atlantic would require larger ships or at least keep the smaller ships with mostly outside activities in warmer regions. North Atlantic is not good for the Prima class ships.

@@rgruenhaus I would think that while the cruise ships are not designed cross the Atlantic efficiently like ocean liners, they do so safely which is all that matters to the cruise lines and the passengers. In fact, I wished it would have taken a couple days longer. lol.
