Before anything, *i just wanna thank you guys so much for 100k..it's been a long four years but i really do appreciate every last one of you who stuck by through all my inconstant uploads* but don't worry I'm still making a ton more videos its just this one took a little longer then expected as you can tell by the intro. the thing with the first anime is it was made by a guy on hard drugs and who drank heavy who passed away recently...he literally was influenced by looney tunes cartoons....he wanted to do weird ideas rather than make a game faithful show....he was trying to make a fun show with pokemon as the core marketing to kids premise but not a pokemon show itself if you know what I mean..thats the point....he used the name of pokemon to tell stories and write what he felt like kids would enjoy...it has its benefits and issues obviously...fans of the games or manga or serious stuff would see it as a gag show who is more interested in telling human stories rather than focus on battles which is true...

While I love the idea of Ash catching, not only Clefairy but also Porygon, and Ash getting to *actually battle* both Misty and Erika, I kinda wish the Safari Zone stuff would’ve been fixed rather than ignored, Ash losing to Gary in the Top 12 or something, and-while I like Charizard actually obeying Ash-cutting Charizard vs. Magmar is just sacrilege. I’m sorry, that’s what it is. Also a fan of Squirtle a different path to Ash’s team and letting Bulbasaur evolve into Ivysaur (I see what you did there, with Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard-very clever), it also kinda ends up leaving Misty without as much development that came from obtaining Horsea and later Togepi. I’m excited for what else you have in store through Orange Islands, Johto, Hoenn, and all the way through Alola, but I feel needing to voice these grievances.

*I love reading comments like this :)* But yea you're right rewriting history can basically change this whole show's concpet but the only reason i made Ash loss so early was so he will have the motivation to continue his journey and do better in the next league, and yess the journey will continue in Johto as i'm now writing it. I am mostly upset by Charizard as well. Ash was about to be **eaten by an Aerodactyl** for crying out loud! Seeing this, Charmeleon evolved out of sheer will to protect its Trainer! Like- why would you cut that!!!

i think one issue the first region anime pacing wise has is the way ash will get like 3 badges and he does this twice actually by the way but anyways he will win 3 badges within 8-9 episodes but then will go literally 28 more episodes before he gets his next badge and he gets his last 2 badges within 7 episodes of each other too..its confusing af...he gets 1 badge between episodes 8 and 23 as well which sucks after getting 2 within 3 episodes.....

In my version of the Kanto region, it would be just like the original version expect I'd cancel some of the bad episodes, Misty never left Cerulean City, Ash's Pikachu defeats Misty's Pokémon and officially earns the badge, Giselle joins Ash and Brock on their journey, James doesn't cross dress, Gengar joins Ash instead of Haunter, Gengar defeats Sabrina's Kadabra, Ash offically defeats Erika in a battle (Ash leaves Team Rocket tied up through the whole episode), Primeape stays with Ash, I'm replacing Hypno's Naptime with a much better original episode, I'm replacing the guns in the Dratini episode with slingshots, Ash captures Snorlax but gets transported to Professor Oak's lab, Giselle captures Jigglypuff, Ash captures Aerodactyl while Jigglypuff sang it to sleep but doesn't find Togepi as an egg, on Cinnabar Island after Ash loses the first match against Blaine he sends Primeape to Professor Oak and gets Aerodactyl, Aerodactyl defeats Blaine's Magmar, I'm replacing Beach Blank-out Blastoise with an original episode based on the Lost Lapras except without Tracy, on the Battle for the Badge episode Ash actually fights Giovanni, Bulbasaur, Charmander & Squirtle evolve and Meowth was revealed to be a robot, Professor Oak trains Ash and his Pokémon for the Pokémon League, Ash fights the elite four & Gary and wins.

How I would handle the Porygon episode: Have a new COTD accompany Ash and friends when they go into the computer. It doesn't really click with me that Ash catching Porygon prevents Nurse Joy from firing off vaccine missiles, so Pikachu still has to blow them up. But, when they get out of the computer, they find their new friend mid-seizure! This is still a kids show, so they're okay in the end, but due to the danger Porygon presented, it has to be put down. Ash fights for Porygon's life and gets to keep the Pokemon.
