- Nice - but probably the choice of membrane/surround - material is pretty crucial to the quality of the speaker. There must be a more fitting name for this design - it´s not a "ribbon-spaker", rather some flat-coil-with-the-surroundmaterial-flexing-to-move-the-air. High-efficiency coupled with low coloration could make it a favourite for future pa-sytems. If it can be made in sturdy versions, that will withstand the beatings on the road
