Put a 75 gallon model in our Ram 3500HD 4 weeks ago and pulled a 43' toy hauler 7000 miles as of yesterday. It's leaving on a 4500 mile trip in less than 2 weeks. Pretty cool just filling up once a day. The truck's stock tank is 32 gallons.

How many miles did you get out of it? I have the same setup, I’m having to fill up every 200 miles. I’m getting 8-9 mpg. I just got a fleet card to get money off at the truck stops.

About the longest we've gone so far with the trailer is about 700 miles and we had about 20 gallons left (75 gallon transfer tank and 32 gallon main tank). We put 8mpg in the app since we almost always get a little over that. We have a Pilot card that gets about a 14 cent discount per gallon I think.

I have had an auxiliary tank in the back of my truck for pulling a 5th wheel for awhile. Notice on the side of it states that it is rated for aviation fuel, gasoline and diesel. Diesel is the only fuel that can be gravity fed.

They sell a locking gas cap option. In theory you could jumper the pump and route the system to a can but it's a pretty slow pump so you'd be there a while..

That gets into a gray area... Epa would require connections to emissions systems for gasoline vapors. Most likely it would be considered a tank for transportation which its only legal to transport up to 4, 5 gallon jugs of gasoline in a passenger vehicle.
