@triggertimetraining6963 Texas has a kicker in the program right now that was highly regarded out of HS and kicking 60 yarders. That dude can't get on the field. For some reason there's just a big difference even though it doesn't seem like there should be. It's the same size ball and same size field. Same size goal posts. Shouldn't be any different other than you need to speed up your timing with much better athletes rushing you.

As much as I would love to see Texas get Ryan Williams from the transfer portal, if he was to enter the transfer portal, Defensive Tackle is the most important position in football. Texas needs to get at least one dominant Defensive Tackle from the portal, preferably a Nose Tackle. "Hook Em"

I think we need a bigger more powerful RB that can run between the tackles. Also a better PAT kicker, the current one is missing them too much. The biggest part is issues scoring touchdowns they couldn’t do it against Georgia at least not enough to compete or win 🥇. The O line really needs to play better, protect Ewers.

We haven't ran the ball well vs Georgia but we're happy with the O line. Slow developing plays hurt us vs top 5 teams. Have to hold our ground longer. We're 1st and 10 in the red zone at the end and run a play with 18 fakes and end up 2nd and long. We were 2nd and long all night. Either Sark rethinks his scheme or get lineman that can block longer. Blown opportunity. I say if there is a big human that's great, go get him. Clemson could give us all we can handle

If Texas wants to keep getting elite HS classes they're going to have to rely on inexperienced guys at times. Only 1 way for guys to get experience, and if you get the reputation for always using the portal to prevent your HS recruits from getting experience it'll eventually hurt you with them. This year needs to be looked at as the all in gotta win the title year. Everything is there. Best defense in country, top 3 OL in country, experienced talent at every position and a 3rd year starting QB. Quinn has to get his head right and perform in theze playoffs. We better be scoring in the 20s and 30s minimum every game. Next year is a bit of a rebuilding year. Inexperienced RS soph QB, and a lot of very talented inexperience in the secondary, at receiver, and on the OL. We should still be able to compete for the title, but we need to use it to set us up for a title winning 2026 season with Arch's final season.
