Deboer's offenses at Washington had over 4000 passing yards. Milroe was never going to do that, and the players liked Milroe. Deboer made the best of a tough situation. Deboer can now implement his full offense.

In this years offensive scheme with Milroe being the primary benefactor of the offense. Did we really see what Law, Odom, and Prentice could do catching the ball? Same with the running backs. When your QB has the most yards rushing and only two receivers were targeted. Is it really far to say that the other receivers couldn't perform ? As we saw with Jalen. It was feast or famine. There was also a issue with the offensive line blocking and of course penalties. The Alabama football program has slowly seen a lack of discipline starting even when Coach Saban was there.

I agree. The offense was limited because they had to cater to Milroes strengths which is mainly running. But a real offensive coordinator would have known how to incorporate the weapons we had on offense and allow Jalen to do what he does.

All the while the team mates which did this to themselves, by forcing the hand of the institution as reference to " if Milroe doesn't play, we don't either". If the BEAR was around he'd told them pack it up and your ALL GONE. The Bear did NOT take any crap from any players either. This sport is dying very quickly and I guess for good reasons too. Selfishness, pride, greed are the player's only motivation, while loyalty and development are clearly out the window. Plus, trade secrets from these institutions are exposed by the these nice young traitors to the sport.

Saban didn't start Ty and Deboer didn't either. But you have all these outsiders that aren't in the practices that know best. We saw Ty play when Jalen was benched and it was not good.

We don’t need to rush out and grab up a bunch of portal players. Alabama fans need to keep in mind there are only a certain amount of spots available as far as players you can bring in from the portal. There’s a lot that goes into this process, not just “ oh well that guy is rated this or that, let’s sign him”. Why bring in a guy just because he’s got some hype behind him when you’ve got a guy coming in from your recruiting class that’s likely a lot better. Not to mention many of these guys are just portal hoppers that cause more damage to the team than good because you can’t depend on them. Nowadays more than ever a players moral compass, their sense of loyalty to the team is just as important as their skills. I trust Deboer as far as evaluating talent and bringing in only the guys that are a good fit for the team.

Players coming in the next class will be freshmen 🤦🏾‍♂️ Players from the portal are almost ready to go with only learning the system. With the amount of players leaving we'll need experienced players coming in not having to start over by starting a bunch of inexperienced freshmen

It's more about getting specific pieces for this offense. Deboer runs an extreme west coast offense and didn't want to bench talented guys that don't fit it this year.

Milroe should go to the NFL, opt out of the bowl game to give the next up guy time under center... I personally think Deboer should have did what Nick did and bench Milroe... Now all the good/great players are leaving because they didn't get touches. Milroe did the rbs jobs and couldn't get the ball to receivers 🤦🏾‍♂️ There's no telling how many more players are gonna leave because of it smh

Are you guys thinking clearly? You think Devonta Smith is a big loss? The guy barely hung on to the position at the beginning of the season due to Red Morgan looking better in practice. He spent years just trying to get to starting status. He was totally unimpressive this year (name a single big game he had). And the secondary is the strongest position group on the team going forward. Clearly he felt like he was about to get pushed for playing time and wanted to go to a more solid starting spot.
