Perfect space would be opening that door on the right and expand it with a plate to make a small hallway. That way when you look at the setup head on, you see all the action snd down that hallway Leia with the droids.

I've been doing this some of my sets since 2012. I've been building black bases. But I used sloped black edges. No grill elements and all black tiled bases. I stopped doing it for awhile now but this vid has me wanting to do it again for ALL my sets.
