Transformation Animatic - Jekyll and Hyde Musical

About the colours, here's my thought behind them. The video begins with the background being a bleak, light blue and ends with it turning into a dark blue. The colours in-between is a sunset, representing the day shifting into night as Jekyll transforms from his respectable, public persona to his secret, immoral self.

Dude this is SO GOOD in so many different ways. The movements and thrashing around are so well animated, and I love the colour explanation you added. The big difference between the two characters are great too. Coming from your Frankenstein animatics this is wonderful!

i loved this!! your style is absolutely unique and brings something new to the song! i will this though as constructive criticism, that some parts felt a little more cartoony and the full face reveal of hyde made me giggle instead of being afraid because he just looked like one of those tough guys who are actually really shy and insecure rather than a spawn of satan. although that shot with just hyde’s eye in the mirror sent shivers down my spine. if the cartoony thing is your style then roll with it dude. one question i did have though was that do you think that jekyll was in more pain then what was shown and could you possibly portray that more? overall this was one of the best animatics i’ve seen and im really excited to see more!
