Transparency. Humility. Helping your fellow barbers learn from you when you perform in a stellar fashion and learn from you when you have an 'off' day. Those are the signs of an honorable man. Keep doing your thing and transforming people in the manner that you do. Peace and God bless. By the way, he looked 100% better than when he first sat down in the chair.

A SECRET that most people don’t know: Barbering is one of THE most difficult industries to stay afloat in. Can be one of the most stressful and unforgiving. It almost requires you to be perfect every time (especially in the black community). I never faulted a barber when my hairline or fade was not the best because they’re human at the end of the day!🤷🏾♂️
@TarellHudson3 жыл бұрын
It’s how they handle it when they mess up. If you Jack me up, then comp the cut or at least have me come back for a courtesy cut next time. Hair grows back but honor and customer service are forever. I’ve had barbers leave me uneven with patches and when I point it out, they insist that’s how my hair grows like I ain’t never had a cut before. Refuse to fix it and still demand full price. I pay without tip and then never go back. But my actual barber isn’t always perfect. And I’m forgiving because I know he’s human. He gets mad at me if I don’t come every two weeks. Told me if it’s a financial problem, dont worry. He’ll take care of me and my sons regardless. That’s love right there and I’m a forever customer.
