I came to the Lord asking for his blessings as a single mom because raising my son (Joel) was an act of courage despite all the challenges. And the Lord answered my prayers with a benefiting. income of $41,000 every month. To God be the glory. Joel is in school and life's been fair lately.

The sermon is CRAZY! I literally prayed last month to find a sermon that distinguishes nice and kind, specifically to address workplace conflict and wow! One may think that because I’m black and educated or I’m black and successful that life gets easier. Unpopular opinion, it actually gets harder. Harder to deal with the enemy. Thank you Pastor Todd for surrendering your life and being so intentional about you walk with Christ 🫶🏾

I am learning to trust God more and more. I was off work, not able to work for five months because the lady that I take care of was in the nursing home and they wouldn’t let me work then so like OK well here I am Lord with no place to go to work no money, but he sent people he sent me what I needed. I was able to pay my rent and able to eat so thank him for teaching me to trust him and I’m trusting him more and more.

My sermon notes for "Receipts// Kill em with kindness, Behave like a Christian" week 8: 1.) Kindness isn't conditional, it's a command 2.) Kindness isn't a personality type, it's a principle of the kingdom. If you are a Christian, you are supposed to be kind. By faith, you can be kind 3.) Kind is kinda confused with nice. You cannot be kind without the Holy Spirit 4.) In order to be kind you are going to have to face the culture that you are familiar with and raised you Nice Kind ___________________________________ Polite | Heart posture Surface | Sacrifice Acknowledgement | Active Considerate | Compassionate Selective | Selfless Passively agreeable| Powerfully anchored Self-improvement | Spirit- empowered Scripture reference: Galatians 5:22-23 Romans 12:17-21 Luke 10:30-37

I’ll certainly PRAY and turn the other cheek to walk away before I render kindness to evil. Baby steps lol The LORD knows. We not giving permission for evil to run amok nor giving ground to the devil. Be kind to people, not to evil. I will tell a devil where to go quickly and I curse out demons. Just like Christ did: get thee BEHIND ME, Shatan!!!! Wisdom is key. Know who you talking to when you’re direct. Ain’t no kindness for devils.
@annabunger1533Ай бұрын
I think that the "turning the other cheek" analogy is really not taken in cultural context of that day. In Jesus’ day, hitting a person on the cheek was a forceful insult, but it was not considered a violent assault. Here, Jesus is specifying a strike on the right cheek, which implies a back-handed slap. Striking someone with the back of the hand could demand a doubled fine because it was “the severest public affront to a person’s dignity.” But Jesus is not suggesting that his followers should stand around and take abuse. First, turning the left cheek was a bold rejection of the insult itself. Second, it challenged the aggressor to repeat the offense, while requiring that they now strike with the palm of their hand, something done not to a lesser but to an equal. In other words, turning the other cheek strongly declares that the opposer holds no power for condescending shame because the victim’s honor is not dependent on human approval-it comes from somewhere else. This kind of action reshapes the relationship, pushing the adversary to either back down or to treat them as an equal.

21:26 This is like saying that you should tithe to see how faithful God is. This is similar to this verse: “Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “ ‘He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’” Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”” Matthew 4:5-7 NIV

Dear God, as we begin a new week and enter the month of December, we ask for your guidance and strength. Help us to stay focused on our goals and to be diligent in our work. May this month be filled with blessings and opportunities. We pray that you will be with us every step of the way, guiding our path and giving us the courage to face any challenges that come our way. "As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more." - Psalm 71:14 "Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture." - Psalm 37:3 We also pray for your protection and provision during this holiday season. May we find joy in your love and grace, and may we spread that love to others. Thank you for your constant presence in our lives. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

I feel very balanced. You get a group of ppl in any room talking about me: half will say I’m the kindest and sweetest person they know. The other half will say ‘A Warrior, always fighting, defensive, but tells the truth and she is very direct and mean. She always seems angry and always correcting ’. That’s why people don’t dictate what I do. I curse people pleasing in the name of the risen Christ. Truth will always reign on the just and the unjust unlike. Period. Only God will judge and I’m ready for that, but what ppl say will never be my magnum opus nor my compass. Most of them ppl need to go lead a quiet life and work with their hands while drinking their water and mindin their business, anyways lol Wisdom is principal.

Dear God, as we enter into the month of December, we pray for your blessings and guidance. May this month be filled with joy, love, and peace for us and our loved ones. Help us to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas and to be grateful for all the blessings in our lives. As it says in Psalm 31:19, "How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you." We trust in your abundant goodness and ask for your continued blessings in our lives this December. We also pray for your protection and strength during this busy and sometimes stressful time. As it says in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." May we find comfort and strength in you during any challenges we may face this month. Thank you, God, for your love and grace. May your blessings pour over us this December and may we carry your love and light with us wherever we go. In your holy name we pray, Amen.
