Hey! Thanks for the video. I understood how that peak inrush current appears, and that the saturation of the core would damp out the flux until converging into its steady-state value. But what if you had a core that allowed higher currents? That is, when the inrush current occurs, that the core didn't saturate. Would then the inrush current be there perpetually?

Generally CB for such circuit comes with CSD (controlled switching device). It delays operation of CB until inrush phenomenon is over.
