i was expecting elita one becoming the legs arcee the head and arm and body and chromia the arm but all we got is just arcee with a pointles elita one chromia backpack and chromia shoulder and blade

As a fan of all things-combining, this gestalt looks so lazily put together. They just form upper and lower backpacks for Arcee. I think if the figures had been made just a little bigger, they could have benefited from more paint apps and more engineering that allowed for a better combined mode.

People are too wrapped up in the idea of them combining to make a new character. That's not what they do. It's just a means to give Arcee a greater range of combat ability so don't expect any new heads or limbs. This mode just allows her to operate in more ways than one.

It's technically official. The connectors are there and they do actually hold. Until we get Takara-Tomy's version of instructions in hand, we won't know the exact way to do it properly.

This toy has the worst combined mode of any Transformer. The mode looks like trash, the figures themselves don't tab into each other well, and if you look at it funny a part will fall off. No wonder Hasbro didn't include instructions for this mode: it sucks.
