The figure looks good, it could do with a waist swivel and a little ankle rocker as you mentioned. I will wait for the DX9's version to come out before i make a decision on which one to purchase. Thanks Bobby for the great review👍

I really like this guy and he is great for the price, even though mine didn't have the extra tape. I ended up also getting the Soundblaster, which did have Buzzsaw and Ratbat. I think these guys look great with the DX9 seekers and Megatron. I've had mine on my desk for a couple of weeks now. He's a great fun figure to screw around with.

Mr. Skullface, I would add only one thing to your review if I may, the price of the figure is only $16. For that price point, I think he's great. I have both versions of the mold and I like the Soundblaster coloring better I think (also comes with Ratbat and Buzzsaw). Great review as always!

Another great review as always buddy! I got to thinking that between Iron Factory, DX9, and this company, pretty soon a person will be able to have a large Gen1 collection all in legends size... That's great for people who don't have room for the MP sized figures.

I bought and sold this guy pretty quickly only because he is too big for the legend I already have. I own takara legends prime and he came to this soundwave shoulders. And he's bigger than dx9 galvatron and Megatron. I just can't do it.

I have to say that I'm not to crazy about this figure. I feel that if they put a few more dollars into putting in ankle tilts, bicep swivels and maybe a waist swivel it would be hard to pass up. That being said, to me he looks like something that could be fun to mess around with and I'd rather pick something like this up for my kid (if I had one) then a hasbro product of almost equal value.

I've always thought that Soundwave (& Megs & Starscream) look better in pale grays as opposed to white or silver. It kind of reinforces the Nazi-esque vibes the designs of the first 3 main Deceps had.
