Wow. Wreck-gar has the same kind of shield/blades as the 00 Gundam. I aggree that those forks didn't need a gimmick.

Dear Peaugh and everone else. if you don't like his fork lifts in either mode, you can easily pll them straight off. The peg into the sides. even thought it ratchets, they peg into the sides and you can just set them to the side, or put them in a baggy with all the other weopons from animated you don't really use. ( Prowls traffic light, Ratchet's tools, Arcee's wings, etc.) . anyways, give it a try, you might like the figure alot more.

You know, it's good they discerned a use for Wreck-gar's back kibble in-series as a huge trash backpack. It means he has no real kibble and instead everything on him has a fair representation on the show.

I got my Wreck-Gar yesterday, and I really like him. I am glad to see that my problem with his chest not quite meeting the top half isn't isolated, but I am disappointed at the same time, as it means the ones on the shelves are likely to be the same way. Overall though, I'd say he's one of my favorite Animated figures, up there with Ultra Magnus and Shockwave.

I live in Canada and the Blurr Swindle Blazing Lockdown wave just came in, seems like I have to wait forever before I can buy a little weird Al ._. As show accurate as he is his fingertips aren't black and his toes aren't orange with three toes which bugs me. Wish I was gutsy enough to mod them to make him more accurate. Good review as always_^)

ORIGINALLY, they tried to get his G1 Movie VA, Eric Idle, but he was busy with Spamalot. That's how they got Weird Al.

Yeah, i just say that episode, and it was amazing. It was just as good as "Garbage in, Garbage out" and it had amazing references, like the one with Snarl.

He is alright, but he reminds me of a big shell former. Everything that basically has to do with the robot mode is under the back pack and it comes out in one piece. Great review on a ok figure. I migt pick him up, but there is other figures I have to get first before I think about getting him.

just an idea, but someone should repaint/retool this figure into Constructicon Long Haul by removing the forks, re sculpting the head, either G1 or Animated Constructicon paint, and possibly get the waist to rotate

to bad the gimmicy trash truck flippers didn't fold up, and end up laying in between the robot, and his back-pack. kinda like behind his arms. Cuz no matter how you place those darn things, it looks like his backpack is growing it's own set of legs.

the tires are too (do i dare say this) playschool for the fact there is NO detailing. and honestly... if there were better detailing it would not persuade such a feeling of a younger kids toy. but as you pointed out, thats just how things work in the world of Animated

Great review. I just won this on Ebay mint in sealed box for 7.50. Now I don't know if that is good or not. i am just basing it on the fact it was under 10 bucks. So I do hope its a good deal I got. I think he would fit in nicely with the generations wreck gar and maybe make him an honorary junkion lol.
