I got one of these last week. I love the bot mode, but the alt mode is terrible. Particularly the back end with exposed parts and hollow areas. Still worth keeping.

I think, since sadly the next Hasbro line after PotP is going to shift to Cybertronian alt modes, this is probably going to be the best size, look and displayable Shockwave to put with your CHUG based figures. I'll probably pick him up.

Didn't say that, just saying like the War for Cybertron deluxe, it's pretty unlikely it will look G1 enough on a CHUG shelf. I even like War for Cybertron Shockers, but he definitely fit that game aesthetic.

Just saw him today at my Walgreens. Was soooo tempted to get him because... well Shockwave and the last few ones we have gotten have been too small imo (with the exception of Masterpiece) but the fact that he's Cyberverse scares me. So left him and decided let me check some reviews to make my decision

Sculpt wise he looks good, but that articulation killed it for me now. Why didn't they just upscale the legends class figure smh? Poor Shockwave gets lazy love from Hasbro

I wouldn't say they were lazy because it's an all-new mold and the robot mode looks really good and is well painted. But their budget unfortunately limits the articulation for this particular line. I'm upset that it doesn't have knees but I think they did that because the knew ball joints would wear down

Yea definitely not Lazy with the new mode lol. I just mean we have not gotten a decent Shockwave. All have been too small imo (although he does look good as Bruticus' gun in Combiner Wars lol). This one almost gets it lol. Hey do the wings fold down to mimic a handle? Lol

I say that because i normally don't see this quality in Transformers toys around here, this Shockwave was the best Transformers i have seen in a while, that's why i got 'im without a second thought, (i don't think transformers are too popular over here) doubt this "Seige version" will sell around here, but there is always buying from the net~

I don't think we'll be getting a new Generations style Shockwave, that is either voyager or leader class sized, with good posing, and a decent price point. . . Why did I have to miss out on Prime Shockwave and Foc Shockwave?!?!

Sad how this figure colors pop up more than the MP version. We need a voyager class shockwave. My guess why they went for the spaceship instead of his laser gun was cus all the shootings in schools and all that crap.

With the way his jet mode looks, I could easily see Hasbro retool this quy into a Cyclonus. Just Remold the head, chest, left hand, feet, and wings and then you'd have a Cyber Battalion Cyclonus.

Incredible impression of the G1 anime Shockwave, man!! ...wait, you didn't like the Fall of Cybertron Shockwave? The transformation seems very similar to it as well...but FoC Shockwave hid his arms away better. The way the wings are designed reminds me of Animated's Wingblade Optimus Prime. Heh...that entire line will be LONG gone from shelves by the time my daughter's old enough for anything beyond stuffed animals!!

This shockwave looks very good in robot mode. His spaceship/gun is ok. Now to even say he's no masterpiece. Of course he's not. But he looks great just not enough movement ya. But he's not a $169. MP. So ya he's not as good as a MP but his look is still very good!

Plus the MPs are great but not in my price range and i mean that because of all my hobbys. Which is my muscle car hobby. Building them and buying them is alot more money. So i have to split it.
