Sentinel Prime was such a cool character Didn't seek glory like Megatron Didn't seek extinction like the Fallen Didn't follow orders like Lockdown No, he simply wanted his race to survive, from the limited time he spent with humans, he saw right through them, saw the devestation they bring on others and themselves Best part is, *he was right*

Still kinda wish they went through with ultra magnus being the villain instead but it is what is.... sentinel was still a great villain/character however

of all the villains from this trilogy (and sequel trilogy as i like to call AoE and TLK), Sentinel was the only 3 dimensional villain. Most villains from the show seek straightforward goals with no concrete evidence as to why, just them and their selfish deeds. Setinel on the other hand, had reason, and we understand that reason. Keep in mind that a villain doesn't just mean being an evil counterpart of the hero, if you look up what it meant, it simply means "a person opposing the hero" but it didn't pointed out what kind of opposition, it simply said "opposing". Best part, hollywood movies doesn't do this very often, if they do, only a handful of movies have. Which means if they do, then you know the movie is gonna be good.

Sentinel is one of the best and one of the only villains that Bay has created which can be critically acclaimed. They should have just stopped after DOTM or maybe given Optimus a sacrifice arc at the end of AOE, say that the seed was already detonated and he carries it into space, where it explodes, kinda like Iron giant.
