I was absolutely saddened and terrified that Sentinel Prime had betrayed the Autobots. You can feel how mad this made Optimus during the final battle. Also, Leonard Nimoy delivering the "Needs of the many" quote was an awesome reference.

@@redalert923 IDW did what it did, because the Bayverse showed what was possible with the characters. Do not forget, the IDW comics came before the animated forms, and the comics started after the second film, when Prime first went berserk on the Fallen. Once they knew it was doable, they went to 11 and beyond. The Transformers Prime animated show, which I really enjoyed, was a middle ground between the previous cartoon shows that were done, and the Bayverse brutality.

It’s not an understatement to say I had a bit of an obsession with this movie when it came out. Ironically I never saw it in theaters but I was all about it at that age. There’s so much I can say about this movie, but I’ll just leave it at this: Dutch is the unsung MVP in his scenes

In the movie comics the twins died shortly after Ironhide. And Megatron and Optimus made peace at the end. But the ending of it got leaked from the comic, so they changed it for the movie.

It didn't occur to me until way later how brutal Optimus Prime was. Killed like 20 Decepticons in one scene bare-handed, decapitated Megatron directly after he saved his life, and executed a defenseless sentinel prime as he begged for his life, both with one arm. The war changed him.

Fun fact: the first iron man movie was inspired to be made with confidence after they saw the first live action transformers movie. They saw how good the cgi looked and how good the movie did in theaters so the idea was green lit. They saw the potential of making movies that were predominantly cgi. like transformers which was heavily cgi use. More cgi oriented movies than with regular actors. Basically the inspiration of the mcu

John Malkovich was such a great addition to this one. And Frances McDormand... her and John Turturro were great going at each other. And Ken Jeong is freaking hilarious. Comedic perfection. IIRC it was originally called dark side of the moon and got changed early on, They couldn’t call it dark side of the moon because of copyright issues with Pink Floyd / more than likely roger waters and his lawyers specifically

The chills that I have every time I see Optimus going on the battlefield and that soundtrack..... 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴 BTW If someone already explained it, Dark of the Moon because they found Sentinel there. That really began whole plot. And tbh, with the connection to our history with landing on the Moon, I wished that this was real back then. I cannot describe how much I love this movie and tbh once again, Paramount should have stoped here. And Steve Jablonsky is the second best soundtrack artist right after Zimmer.

8/10 Awesome! Transformers Dark of the Moon being the third movie of the Transformers series you wouldn't think it would be as good as the first two, well it is. In this movie Megan Fox is no longer to be seen but we are gifted with a beautiful Rosie Huntington-Whiteley playing along side Shia LaBeouf. This movie added some serious effects to it with the robots. just like the first two it combines an action/love/comedy attribute. The action scenes in this movie are without a doubt awesome. The effects they used are amazing and to sort of let you catch up with whats happening they use slow motion to let you see things that are going on. I like how they've taken something that has actually happened like the moon landing and have put there own twist on what actually was happening. this was a very good movie and would recommend it to anyone interested in seeing robots you played with as kid come to life.

I was still debating if I love this movie more than the first one and I really love this one more. The original ending, which was changed due to the comics book adaptation of this movie was released and spoiled the ending, is really good and actually how Optimus Prime and Megatron are supposed to be, especially towards each other but I prefer the ending we got because of how much I hated Megatron for what he did in Revenge of the Fallen. Optimus killed Megatron so much more brutally than what he did to him in ROTF and well deserved for Optimus doing what he did, granted, that is something a Deception would do and not Optimus but I'm not complaining. I jumped up out of the theater when Optimus did that as well other moments in this film. The story for this is really good when you look at it, especially of all the call backs from the previous films such as ROTF, with Galloway asking Optimus if they asked them to leave, will you leave peacefully? This also had a lot of inspiration from Transformers G1 episodes, "The Ultimate Doom," and "Megatron's Master Plan." I really, really love Optimus Prime and seeing and hearing him again and Peter Cullen was and always be a delight and mood changer for me. Especially since both are my number 1 heroes, teachers, role models, idols, and mentors if all time. Also, are you going to check out the Transformers: Prime show, Primate? That hands down is the best Transformers show and really the best thing to offer for Transformers in terms of film ever. And how well I know Transformers, everything in that show is perfect.
