I'd recommend swapping the head of ER Prowl with the Seige head, ER Prowl actually has Bluestreaks cartoon head while the seige head was based on Prowls head in the cartoon. Swapping the heads will make both Prowl & Bluestreak more cartoon accurate. Good review ay.

I would agree on some figures and staunchly disagree on others. For example, Titan-class Earthrise Scorponok is absolutely fantastic... whereas figures like Ironhide and Megatron exhibit some laziness in their transformations. I absolutely hate how their robot mode feet go untransformed and remain visible in their respective alternate modes.

@@UnfaithfulServant97 you see I live in a very small country. There are only 2 collectables/comic shops in the whole country . One of them is Greta and sells toys, merchandise and comics. Then the other one is a much worse version that only sells figures, even though they barely have any in stock- I went there just a few weeks ago and they had 0 transformers in stock and only 1 ma legends figure . Half of their store is made up of funko pops - which in my eyes should never be the case. Boy do I hate those funko pops. Here in my country deluxe transformers are €30 which is about $35, so yes. They are very expensive here. I already have this ironhide 2 pack ordered. Its supposed to ship in December. Yes December. I know. Figures come out late here . Like very late. And I will eventually buy the coneheads as well. And I recommend you stalk the amazon listing everyday until they come back in stock. Or you can email them to ask when theyll restock.

One advice. you can actually make use of the SIEGE prowl. Its head sculpt is faithful to prowl, unlike the earthrise prowl which is just a repaint of bluestreak's head. By putting the SIEGE Prowl head on the earthrise body you can actually get a more faithful Prowl. I did it. Be careful: the ball joint is a little bigger in the earthrise body head so you may need to use a tool to reduce it just a little and to be safer. I'm sure the end result will amaze you.

Interesting. As for the Siege Datsuns being "too futuristic", well, they're Cybertronian...despite having very familiar Earth nods here and there. (Who did they think they were fooling with Prowl, Bluestreak, Smokescreen, Sideswipe/G2 Sideswipe, Red Alert, & Tigertrack?)😏😏😏 As for what to do, ehhh, why not keep'em? If you have displays, you could do a setup with the Cybertronian versions, and a separate setup for the Earth versions. I would try to get this, but I wasn't even able to get all three Siege versions (Bluestreak continues to elude me). And given how Amazon's been Walmart levels of suckage with these exclusives...and poor distribution on Smokescreen...and Walgreens just not having stuff...I don't see the odds of me completing the Earthrise versions being very good. (Similarly, there's little chance of completing the Earthrise Seekers) But with Ironhide and BOTH versions of Ratchet being Amazon exclusive this year, what the deuce is Hasbro gonna use the Earthrise retooling of that mold for as far as mainstream retail!?

well said, totally agree with you bro! yeah, i think i'm done with displaying figures on the shelf... cleaning them is just too much of a chore... yeah it sucks hasbro had to go and make main characters exclusives, i'm hoping they find a way to release them as regular release figures, maybe different packaging or as a gift set... etc...

Y'know, my only way is to get the Siege Ironhide, get the roof from BAJComics (make sure you get the Ironhide one and not Ratchet), 3D-scan the side panels and the front grille assembly from the upcoming DK-2 Guard and 3D-print these pieces in red to make a cheaper Earthrise Ironhide... Prowl on the other hand -- get another Bluestreak, get another Siege Prowl for the head, and a siren from another Earthrise Barricade.

Ironhide’s un hidden robot feet hanging off the back of the van are a big turnoff for me. That and the lack of window consistency in van mode. Some are clear, some are solid red. Some are half and half.

Yeah these are awesome looking figures, but I'm sticking with my siege versions because Hasbro already gets enough of my money I just spent over $200 yesterday on preorders after pulsecon and I do have limited display space. To improve the look of my Siege figures I'm getting toyhax labels which will make the Siege figures look even more G1.

Oh, my goodness gracious great balls of fire! They did it again! In your Earthrise Bluestreak review, I pointed out how the SIEGE: WFC figure which preceded it used Prowl's head sculpt. Now, for the Earthrise Prowl, they used Bluestreak's head sculpt! ROTFLMAO!!! It would seem that only Smokescreen is exempt from this misappropriation.

Not bad figures, just wish Ironhide was better and didn't partsform. Nitpicking about the Datsun mold, the weapon(s) should be able to hide away in the carmodes. I think i will stick with my old Datsun bro's . They look pretty nice, although their transformation is a bit fiddly. I do love this new Prowl he looks so good in carmode! As for Ironhide/Ratchet, still holding onto my iGear versions.

I really hope that Hasbro SOMEDAY chooses to release these two separately..or if I can somehow find a loose Ironhide. I'll be honest, I only really care for Ironhide, moreso with that awesome shield and the general Nissan van aesthetics. Mostly the shield. At the same time, Siege is fine, specially with that kickass hammer. I think I like their weapons more than the figures, but Earthrise does appeal to my superficial G1 attachment and sense of cleaner aesthetics more. Ultimately, if I can have one of them with BOTH the hammer and the bulky riot shield, I'll be happy no matter which one it is.

Since a lot of you are not into cars. The new Nissan Brothers are NOT based on the original 280zx cars of the 80's but from the new 400zx that comes out in 2021. ( www.caranddriver.com/news/a34016940/nissan-z-proto-revealed/ ) A car marketing friend of mine told me that the demographic for the new Z car is the EXACT demographic for the G1 transformers fan who grew up in the 80's (demo 40-50) Also the rear end of earthrise Ironside is a bad afterthought doesn't even look like they tried to take the earthrise aspect out of it.)
