I honestly like this sense of loyalty Swindle has in Earhtspark. Really makes me wonder how his relationship with the other Combaticons in this universe. But I do really wish that his friendship with Mo & Frash was genuine.

Seriously swindle totally deserves an Oscar for acting he was totally being a con artist. Maybe he should be in overload's theater and thundercracker's studios. But I don't think missing hardtop is part of the act.

Swindle was SUCH a joy to watch this episode. ❤️ I hope we get more of him. On it's face, this is such a basic premise, but they do it very well. I wasn't bored at all! Side note but one of my favorite things about this series is the Terrans literally getting adopted into a human family. I adore hearing Twitch and Thrash calling Dorothy mom 😍 so cute!!

After watching this episode, I wondered, “what if Swindle was telling the truth?” I imagined a plot-line that would involve him recovering from the harassment of the Combaticon leader, Onslaught. The idea is that Swindle would have been part of the Combaticons for most of the war. While most of the team remains the same, Onslaught was so perfectionist, that he would smack around his own teammates the second they do something wrong. Swindle would be the punching bag the most. Eventually, during a conflict that involved innocent human lives, Swindle would have questioned his leader, which would have gotten him killed if not for his brother, Hardtop. The two would leave the Decepticons and save the humans in the town they attacked, but Hardtop would be lost. From then on, this episode’s climax would have Mo and Thrash aiding in Swindle’s efforts to rescue his brother, which brings him face to face with Onslaught once again. What follows is Swindle being beaten down by Onslaught, with a flashback to the events during the war, and showing how evil Onslaught really is. Eventually, Onslaught would attempt to persuade Seindle to rejoin, with the line, “Without you, we can’t form Bruticus! You wouldn’t want him to *die* would you?” The Combaticons are forced into Bruticus’ combination, which would lead to the Maltos and the freed Hardtop to defeat him and free Swindle. Once that’s over, he finally stands up to Onslaught, defeating his tormentor and sending the Combaticons running! Of course, that’s just *my* interpretation of these events. What do you think?

I was kind of miffed by the "no Transformers in the house" rule. I understand they wanted to protect the house, and to the Terrans wood is basically cardboard, but I thought it was harsh to basically kick 2 kids out of the house for being born big and strong. Thrash is only slightly bigger than Shaq and he has to live in a tent? (Though the wrestling scene seemed to prove the parent's point I admit) I was glad that the episode resolved this by modifying the house to somewhat accommodate the Terrans at the end, though I was hoping that they would somehow fix up the barn to be nicer instead. Perhaps in a future episode.

@America Chavez I'm not saying that there wasn't logic to the decision. I just thought that with the show's strong emphasis of family outright marking the main living unit as off limits to Twitch and Thrash was odd, it's not like they had been going in and out of the house on a regular basis before (as far as we the audience has been shown). I would also argue that the initial inciting house damage wouldn't have been prevented by the ban in the first place as the bots were already outside. I acknowledge that it seems the family will be meeting in the barn more often than in the house anyway, though this combined with the mid season spoiler it further makes me think that the barn needs a remodel. If Alex and Bumblebee can construct entire walls and windows in an afternoon, I'm sure they could do something in the barn in a couple days.

I find it a red flag that Swindle ask children for help and he’s an adult. I don’t know about anyone else, but I have been taught that no adult should ask a kid for help.* This remind me of adults who will ask a child to help them, but didn’t need help they just wanted to hurt them.
