Fantastic vid! Loved the opening sequence. I didn’t have Megatron as a kid but I had Shockwave. So, all my play storylines had Shockwave having deposed of Megatron and I used him as the new Decepticon leader.

Outstanding coverage! This has got to be the DEFINITIVE Vintage Shockwave video from now on. Thank you! I didn't have this guy as a kid, but my buddy Dave did. Very cool figure, indeed. I think my favourite Shockwave-related story was when I found out that Corey Burton based his voice for Shockwave off David Warner's character, Sark, from the movie "Tron." Made it a whole lot easier to imitate David Warner after I found that out!

Great job on the opening George my man. It would be great to do a video just like that. Shockwave I always thought was better in the comic book than the cartoon. Your videos are the closest thing to a Time Machine to my childhood. Always informative and nostalgic. It’s impossible to watch your channel without a smile on your face. Shockwave was so awesome, even James Cameron had to put him in Aliens (might have been Shackwave, though).

I have a tattoo of Shockwave face merged with the Deceptisigil. Around it in cybertronian is his Motto. If I start too get heated in my kitchen... (I am a Chef lol) ...I recall is motto, clarify my temper and figure out what the logical solution is. It has served me well my whole life.

My uncle bought me a KO Shockwave from Radio Shack for Christmas. But I still loved it and it was one of my favorite toys.

The RadioShack version was officially licensed! It just wasn't a Hasbro release. It was just as real only gray.

I have 2 of him one MIB the second is in great shape but the rubber around his wires suffers from the dry rot issue. Also Shockwave was also sold by Radio Shack he was grey and redIf I remember right

Mine is the ASTRO MAGNUM version. He is awesome! And I'm 100% convinced that Hasbro redesigned his trigger because its unfortunate placement in robot mode sure makes it look like it's his 🍆 😆😂🤣

Megatron on the show was a great character and design...Megatron the toy... sandwiched between Shockwave and Soundwave...he feels slightly inadequate ...great review though

Hasbro was desprate for TFs so they leased toys from Bandi ToyBox and other companies to get Jetfire Omega Supreme and the insecticons. Intresting note Jetfire has never been issued in Japan to copy righ issues also Omega never got a release until the Encore Edition...

I never had shockwave as kid I did order 1 of the reprints knock offs from China on ebay it works just as good makes those sounds it's great the rub was put with instructions instead of being right on it
