Peaugh did a mod on megatrons legs where he popped the ratchets out on the top of the legs where they meet the hip joint and wrapping the hip joint pegs with scotch tape to add resistance and stability/poseability after removing the ratchet pieces. I did it to mine and it makes it SOOO much more dynamic.

I saw this at my local Toys-R-Us yesterday. It was larger than I was expecting. I'm waiting on the Ultra Magnus that I've seen pics of for this line. That thing looks awesome.

Definitely loving this figure. It does play on nostalgia like you said. I loved the original figure (despite the hate he gets), I still wish I had him, and this guy can't replace him but he's still close enough. I hope they give more attention to armada as well down the line.

Yeah. The canon on his arm set off alarms, but what struck me the most is the chest section and when the figure is all brick looking. It's the best of Armada, Gen 1 and Gen 2.

The original Armada Megatron toy was redecoed in purple, red, black, and light blue as a figure exclusive to the 2004 Official Transformers Collectors Convention called Megazarak. I want to see that color scheme on this version of the CW Megatron Mold.

And is there a reason why one of the wheel things (don't know what the spinning parts in the treads are called) isn't the same color as the others? oh the figure tickles the nostalgia xD would good next to my Armada Star-Scream from 2014 and the Original Armada Demolisher i own , now Prime / Nemesis - redeco of prime. both have a manual(!!!) trailer transformation that wont burn ***** 's house down that power-links with base figure and the original jetfire and over load , Cyclonus/ snow cat, red alert , smokescreen/hoist , RID2001 SIDEWAYS!!!! - WAS IN ARMADA AND CYBERTRON, thrust, sideswipe need remakes

I loved the design of the original Armada Megatron but this guy just seems really off plus the articulation while it is pretty good but the arms don't look right. If he was a voyager or if he was basically just the original with better articulation in the knee's specifically. I would definitely pick this guy up but for his price and size not so much.

Why do you like light piping? It only looks good for a few seconds in the right light, then you put it back on the shelf and it has dark, dead eyes. Painted eyes are far superior. Light piping ruins so many good transformers faces.

Mighty Transformers Pit Bull Queen Yes. Combiner Wars will take over in the Generations line. There will mostly be G1 Combiners (at long last) in the Legends, Deluxe, and Voyagers line. The Leader Class figures will have the 2 Megatrons, Thundercracker, and Ultra Magnus.
