They would have benefited the overall design by adding a double hinge in both the windscreen mount and the care hood. It isn't really working well in any mode and the kibble gets in the way much more than it ever should. I would expect Masterpiece level complexity but event he G1 toy does it much better.

You keep making (cookin') toy history real gOOd, Chef ma man! One up on the extra swinging movement at the wrist (as opposed to Dragstrip who has zilch)! No sign of any Scramble-City-style cross-compatibility between the upper & lower limbs (he doesn't seem to 'split up'). The reddish clear parts are worrisome as Dragstrip has zero transparent components (unique in this Legacy line) and hence will be one of the longest-lasting entries of 2022. The toy looks OK for the most part, though it's a pity the designers couldn't decide on which way to go with the rims (the visible rear tire pegs are rather unsightly and this sadly drops the ball when it comes to overall design quality & aesthetic uniformity), particularly when it comes to the lords of the roads, the ever stylish Stunticons. (I am convinced the true spirit of the fast-rolling team has been watered down over time and has lost its core essence.) It would be fun to guess who this mould will be redecoed/retooled into subsequently. (Most likely one of the Turbomasters to go/combine with the upcoming Thunderclash retool of Motormaster...into a yet-be-be-revealed new Gestalt, no doubt!) I can't put my finger on it...but there is something diabolical about this video that is very much in tandem with the overall notion of the Stunticons! Once again, you have done it, Chaftron (a.k.a. the 'Sixth StuntiCON' who exudes a RECIPE FOR DEMOLITION-DERBY DESTRUCTION!) ;-)

hahaha thanks bro! yeah, i know right?!~ yeah, i don't think they can mix and match in combined mode yes, but the plastic seems to hold though yeah, they might have comprised too much on the sculpt or couldn't figure out a better way to place the kibble i suppose hasbro could re-release the entire stunticon team as a boxed set in G2 colors ? hahaha oh man, you're the best, thank you so much my friend 🙂

(If only HasTak could match your enthusiasm in terms of manufacturing quality toys that last.) PS. The G2 colouring would be a definite must-have, good bro! Alternately, one could simply hold on to the Combiners Wars G2 colouration for the sake of having a completely different mould set to get the best flavours of both worlds! What an absolute shame they didn't make that backpack a parts forming peice. This would be a great toy if not for the cumbersome back. Most disappointing toy I've bought since Siege began. I kinda hate it.

Seeing him next to Dragstrip he looks a bit puny. Dragstrip is a bright color which helps Im sure but I think some of it is Wildrider carries a good amount of mass on his back. Still, I like him more than Dragstrip overall, His Ferrari mode is beautiful!

They seem to aim for cartoon accuracy but then they fumble on the kibble. It's like they either get lazy on the design of the figure or they run out on their budget to make them look better. At least the car mode looks great. If I pick this one up, he's staying in car or combined mode.

Does he also have the ports and detachable hips like Drag Strip to be used as an arm? While ditching the Combiner Wars style connectors makes for a much more screen-accurate Menasor, being able to use any of the DX class members as any limb would be nice while we're still waiting for the last two at the least, or for kids whose parents may not be able to get them the whole set, due to cost or uneven distribution or whatever. I know when I was a kid, I ended up with a total of five Scramble City limbs (two Seacons, two Technobots, and Blot) and the choice of Scattershot or Hun-Gurr for a torso :P

Great review! I seen a picture the other day with the Hasbro version of Menasor next to the shattered glass Jetfire. They were within a half inch of height of each other. Do you think that would be the correct scale? I was a little disappointed for the size but so far the designs and individual figures look great!

No way is this the correct scale. Skyfire/Jetfire was big, but not Combiner big. Menasor should be 18 inches. My guess is Hasbro didn’t know how to pull off an 18 inch Menasor while making the individual Stunticons scale properly with other Autobot/Decepticons. This was a bit of a pick your poison decision. CW Devy is sized correctly, but the individual bots are a tad too big. Honestly, I don’t know which version is the right design approach.

​@@jasonswitzer1748 Nah. CW Devy was Titan sized. That was definitely wrongly scaled. Same as POTP Predaking being a Titan as well. As far as I'm concerned a much more accurate Skyfire was the Generations Leader class version.

The Chefron backpack would be fine if it could flip down further on his back. Unfortunately it sticks out too much looking like it was mistransformed. Sadly the official transformation looks like an exploded back. Oh well… hoping Newage eventually does Menasor and they get the design right.

This set is kind of bitter sweet for me. You don't really need the rest of the Stunticons to form Menasor. The other figures pretty much build armor for him. I'm used to combiners combining to make a robot, not the other figures making armor for the main figure. But I can't wait to get it cuz it looks so damn cool
