All in all, pretty impressive figure. The robot looks pretty sweet and g1 accurate. Base mode looks awesome, but all the extra stuff that comes with it, I could care less about. Definitely will be picking this guy up around November, he would go great with my iron factory war giant.

I dont have much of an answer, but if I had to guess, I assume its because Hasbro bought the rights to use omega supreme in transformers, then takara bought the company that made the original and used it in their diaclone line, which this would technically be a part of, since this was imported from japan.

As this is third party, I don’t believe it has a name. Not completely sure. I don’t know that with one omega supreme toy the tiny guy you got with it was called countdown, but I don’t think that has anything to do with the toy in this video
