Trailmakers has an amazing TRANSFORM feature! With the push of a button, we can transform one of our creations into any other creation! So today I build a monster truck, a jet, and a hovercraft to see if we can pull off some combo mid-air transformations between all 3 vehicles!

Yep. Years of playing Kerbal Space Program have taught me the center of mass has to be in front of the center of lift. That's why moving the wings back fixed your problem.

for those watching in 2021 who can't get the simple jet design to work without swaying out of control, remove the front aerodynamic parts and replace them with a propeller on the top block. you're welcome. As for how to solve the problem with being able to add multiple jets to it without it going unstable again, i would assume adding a gridblock to the front where the propeller was, moving the propeller forward one block and then adding 2 propellers just to the side. Adding propellers and jets also add more speed so that's nice

For multiplayer Monday you should do a challenge where you build trains and you have to get as much cargo with it in a certain amount of time and the trains have to be fit on a track the train cars can be already there.

if this game has any realistic gravity physics then your original problem with the jet is that your center of mass was farther back than the thrusters, making it go in circles

I'm assuming the reason moving the wings back helped is because the wings are being used as ailerons and the elevators at the same time, similar to along the lines of a B-2 Spirit flying wing.

I made a similar kind of car in a game called Machinecraft. It drives like a car, it's wheels are fans as well and it can turn into a boat, it can turn into a submarine, and can also fly like the Delorean from BTTF. It's wheels are used for propulsion in all 4 modes. It also has rocket engines of course :D

Love the work you do. For the monster truck quad steering you should have the back axle steering on a diff key so you can steer regular or with quad on so you can have control at top speed but can manuver better when slow

Your center of lift was in front of your center of mass, so your nose kept trying to go up. That's why you needed to move your wings back.

on the hovercraft you could have done steering on the upper part on the back and front and attach the forward thruster on that steering because then you have your thrust always in the general direction of where you want to go
