Transformers MTMTE - Megatron's Therapy Session

This is Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye (MTMTE). The story follows a crew of Cybertronians led by Rodimus, who go on quests in their starship, the "Lost Light". In this video, Megatron has a therapy session with Rung and discuss Megatron's past and his regrets.

I had originally recorded most of these lines (aside from one Megatron line) about 5 months ago but had forgotten about this project until now. All the lines were fine aside from one of them, so I got to finishing this one so it doesn't sit in my Dubs folder forgotten.

Yeah and megatron forced him to shut up right quick with the fact that rge only reason whirl ever survived the war for how many millions of years ? Was due entirely to megatrons sense if cruel. @@Boyo_Dubs thanks for directing me. Now I see why Megatron's autobiography was dedicated to Terminus. I absolutely love Megatron before the war. Kind, caring, selfless. Believing in equality and the right to choose your own path. Hell, the way he put the power of the people before the power on an individual makes me think he would've made a great Prime. No wonder he had managed to gather such a following - I would've followed him as well! Now I'm wondering what could've happened had he not gone mad during the war. As in, the revolution still happened, the Functionists overthrown, but Megatron never lost his ideals in the process. On a sidenote: do you know wether the Functionists prohibited changing one's alt mode, or was it just not possible entirely? Because to me this looks like a major hole in the logic. Don't like your birth-alt-mode? Just go and change it.

@@outcast4087 The Functionists were not fully in power, sure their ideology was used as the basis for a lot of Cybetrons Laws, but they could never quite reach that level of a control they had in the alternate universe where Megatron never existed. There has most certainly been pushback against them even before the rise of the Decepticons, both from the top and the bottom of Cybertronian society. There have been throwaway lines indicating it here and there, and more direct examples that there have been even Senators who worked against them (Including Shockwave before his shadowplay). And there were organizations like the Militant Monoformer Movement, which was mentioned having a resurgance under the Decepticons, that in turn indicates that an older, non-decepticon MMM had to exist at some point. And considering what those guys are about, i would bet on them having been a response to functionism. Considering this, and the fact that changing alt modes usually meant going to a relinquishment clinic and essentially buy someone elses body, i would assume only the more influental and wealthy bots could afford it, and even in real life, if you have power and money, you can usually get all the religious exceptions for yourself that you want.
