its a good theology standpoint, timelines could intersect to show the split between two friends and why it happened instead of just glossing over that "once were friends now are enemies" trope' , anyone who read the comics growing up knows megatron has a DEEP hatred of Optimus Prime but even the comics didn't extrapolate as to WHY. This movie could be the episode 1 of a long storyline universe, look forward to see the results

Megatron was a Gladiator back then,& Orion Pax(Optimus Prime) was a Librarian. That's until Primus gave the MATRIX of LEADERSHIP to OPTIMUS PRIME.

Thats the Prime origin story. But TF:ONE might give Megs the TF: War for Cybertron origin where Megs at first is a laborer and gets interested in gladiator fight LATER where he learns about free will.

They've done plenty of Pre Human on Cybertron when Mega & Optimus were friends. Part of what broke their friendship was Optimus becoming a Prime.

There not they have Cybertronian Alt modes or vehicles before they ever new earth existed they always had Two modes Robot Mode Alt mode. Thats why they do not like Earth vehicles in this movie.
