It isn't. That's its colour out of the box. The designers said during a livestream reveal that the yellowish grey was closer to the design they were working with

directorscarlett1932 explained this better, but the movie design for orion/optimus has a more yellow-grey, while the studio series design is more grey. The studio series one is more accurate color-wise
