Agreed season 1 was a bit weak.. it was very much a monster of the week kind of story, and the human characters where to put it mildly ANNOYING! Ralph was just the stereotypical hacker genius and once he had managed to hack the bloody pentagon that was it there really wasn´t that many places his character could go. Miko.. you wanted to chuck her into the garbage disposal and watch her die a slow agonizing death with a smile on your face. Jack had potential but there really wasn´t much to his character. Season 2 and afterwards ho boy now things started to get good, Ralph was silently removed from the show (because i guess people knew there really wasn´t much they could do with his charecter) Miko more or less became part of the wreckers and was actually enjoyable to watch. And Jack was starting to be of real value to the team often going on dangerous missions.

Prime wasn't a show just to be for selling toys, nor just about getting kids to laugh, it was a show that put effort in to bring the transformers to life , and make a show that wasn't just a run of the mill daily good guy win, the autobots lost too, it was a show with a deep plot, it was the transformers show people had been waiting for. And then we got a massive pile of shite afterwards but let's just forget about robots in disguise.

It also taught about reality of life. Death, family issues, love, humility, contradiction, strength, and most of all, real family and that you don't have to be related or the second species to be family. What's cool about it is is that it doesn't recycle plots, but rather uses new ones. It also brought back old and legendary characters, such as my personal favorite, Arcee. The humans were also memorable, due to the fact that they were always a help towards their Autobot guardian

The emotion I feel when I listen to this is so unexplainable yet so relatable. Autobots vs. Decepticons, Good vs. Evil, both always intertwined in a never-ending battle and both are essential. Transformers showed us, the sadness of losing those dear to you, it showed us that our biggest fears can be conquered, and it showed us that friendships and family are what count. There is never a right or wrong side in any battle, as both sides have a reason to fight for. But in war, there is never an answer. One must push past themselves and look beyond their own desires to realize that the true answer to all of your problems lies with those who stand with you. Those who fight by your side, the ones who stand by you when times get tough, they are the ones that matter. Every problem requires the help of another, whether the help is small or big, working together can make anything happen. Setting aside the differences of two standings in battle, and standing together, create an unstoppable force. What we learned from the Transformers is that not every battle, not every war, can be won. When we drop those weapons and fight together; that’s when the true battle has been won. Through uniting, trust is established, friendships are formed, and family is built. The Transformers had lost their home fighting a war for their own selfish reasons that through the years had lost all meaning. All they gained was the death of old friends, the broken spirits of their soldiers, but most importantly, the destruction of their homeland. However amongst the endless fighting, the death, the rage, the fear, and the anguish, there was the means for change. Autobots and Decepticons, two sides destined to clash, learned to drop their weapons, stop the senseless fighting, and unite to rebuild their long lost planet. Together they moved towards the future that many of their dearly departed brethren dreamed would come. But like said before, good cannot exist without evil, one way or the other corruption will spread again. Ideals will clash, and war is born anew. It’s a never ending cycle of peace and destruction. But that’s what makes it so unique, everything changes and nothing ever lasts. _It’s, in a sense, always _*_Transforming_*

I found TFP's Optimus is the best rendition. I loved the fights in the Bay films, but he made Optimus feel more like a warrior than a compassionate protector. but G1 Optimus' gentleness was what made him such a great character. TFP makes a decent effort to keep that fighting spirit and tenacious nature, while re-iterating and emphasising on the kind and compassionate side of the character

I agree on Season 3, one of my only dislikes regarding this show was the lead up to the Predacons with the whole fossil hunt not amounting to anything, due to the decision to kill them off. I can't help but imagine a what if scenario where the Predacons were allowed to emerge, giving the Autobots a tough time until the arrival of the Dinobots to balance the power struggle.

What I believe made this show so good is that the writers took the epic explosions and fight senses of the shitshow BAYformers and combined them with story arks equal to those of beast wars to make the best modern transformers show to this day. I mean the writers MADE this show so that TF fans didn't have to deal with Micheal bays tf movies. This show was like the Star Wars The Clone Wars of the transformers continuities. No other tf show sense the making of this one has even come close. The toy line was not the best, but thanks to the first edition line, takara, and third party companies you can easily improve them drastically. The characters were amazing, the humans weren't annoying....almost all of them *cough miko cough* . This show will truly stand up to the testaments of time and will not be forgoten, being placed with other great shows like animated and beast wars. Tis but a shame that they say that TFWFC is in the same continuity as prime, and robots in disguise is a discreace to prime.
