Honestly, I really believe Hugo Weaving's performance as Megatron is one of the best depictions of the character, easily surpassing Frank Welker's performance in the 80's but coming in to a close second with Welker's version of Megatron in Prime. There's just something so carnal, so gutteral about his voice that fits his character so well. Too bad he didn't enjoy the role all that much, but even so, him phoning it in was really, really good.

I agree. Frank was perfect in Prime to me, David Kaye was second for me in Armada and third was Hugo.

I’m so glad somebody has posted a behind the scenes voice actors footage for Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen, for years the behind the voices has always been on KZbin for awhile. Also, it’s pretty cool to hear Hugo Weaving’s Megatron voice unedited.

0:52 for a franchise like transformers, it makes sense that the ILM sequences where Megatron meets the Fallen off earth would be considered animated since there is no humans on earth involved, that’s where it can’t be considered live action without the real human element, and I wonder if it’s gotta be hard to produce a transformers movie where it’s all on Cybertron with all that cgi

I forgot Hugo did Megatron with the first 3. I felt for sure Frank replaced Hugo in Dark of the Moon. Looks like it didn't happen until Age of Extinction. Then again Frank played Galvatron and then Megatron in Last Knight. On that note I was happy to hear Frank reprise Soundwave and give it a Dr. Claw vibe. I also liked how he did The Fallen it kind of mad sense Frank would do Megatron's mentor.

@@illyanesterenko8930Is only slightly worse. We are not going to pretend that the Bumblebee movies are “better”. Sorry. But they aren’t. I wanted raunchy, cussing robots that tore eachother apart. Bay gave us that. 3 good times (4 and 5, I hate Mark so, that ruined it) Now disgustingmedia culture has a grip on everything. Transformers movies are PC garbage now, and you won’t change my mind. They suck. The plot sucks. The dialogue sucks. The human aspect is cringy cringy cringy. Transformers has had plot holes since 1984, when I was watching it on TV. You watch the cartoon because the toys are awesome. You buy the toys because you love the cartoon. Thats IT. Anything beyond that is extra. Enjoy the fact that this franchise has existed for nearly 50 years and that there are an infinite amount of multiverses of this franchise for anyone to enjoy/critique. don’t like bay? Cool. Theres like, 50 other subseries within this franchise for you to get lost in, and ultimately bitch about the same exact things.

I enjoyed all the films from all three of the first three to “Transformers IV: The Age Of Extinction” up through “Transformers V: The Last Knight” and the films set before those and the yet to be released “Transformers VI” intended to conclude the storyline itself. If only Hugo Weaving had continued on from all three of the first three films instead of being replaced with “Old Man” Frank Welker including in Lord Megatron Also Called Lord Galvatron’s “Galvatron Form And/Or Galvatron Forms”. For whenever I hear Welker’s voice in “films 4 & 5” and no doubt the yet to be released “Film 6”, all that I can do is do a deep voice imitation in the process of saying “Alas I do so regret to say your voice is too soft, Old Man.”. For Hugo Weaving As Lord Megatron Also Called Lord Galvatron was and still is none other else than “The Sir Ian McKellen As Lord Magneto To The Transformers Film Franchise’s 20th Century Fox Inc & Marvel X-Men Film Franchise”, as Weaving and McKellen, who played villains in those franchises, played as the heroes Elrond and Gandalf in ““The Lord Of The Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy” “&” “The Hobbit: The One Three-Parter Motion Picture””. In those films they co-starred with Christopher Lee - who besides the villain Count Dooku in the Star Wars Franchise Prequel Films, played as Saruman. A Trivia Fun Fact: The One who voiced Starscream in those films, Charlie Adler by name, also voiced the Arab thief Gazeem in the 1992 released animated Walt Disney Pictures film “Aladdin”. I recognized the sound of “Starscream’s post TF1 voice” as sounding just like that of Gazeem, so I looked it up and discovered it was Charlie Adler that voiced both characters.
