1. This is a direct sequel to 2018s Bumblebee, which is a reboot of the franchise. This isn't a prequel to the Michael Bay films, they're no longer connected 2. At the start of the final battle, you seemed confused by Optimus Primal and the other Maximals becoming robots. Essentially, the Maximals are the same as the other transformers, where they have a robot mode, where from there, they can transform into things they scan, such as vehicles, and in this case animals. For majority of the film, they remained in animal mode, but it wasn't until the start of the final battle where they changed into robot mode, when Optimus Primal called out "Rhinox, Cheetor, Maximize!!" Essentially that's him calling out for them to transform, which is what you saw all 3 of them do

So little history lesson, The Maximals are Descendants of the Autobots who are in a war against The Predacons who are the Descendants of the Decepticons, both factions time travel to prehistoric earth which is also where the AutoBots and Decepticons crashed in the 80s cartoons. Maximals were usually Mammals and birds, while Predacons were Insects, Reptiles, and Arachnids. As for the Terrorcons, they were usually either a crazy sub group of Decepticons or Zombies who were charged with Dark Energon which is Unicrons blood, in this film they are own separate faction who are servants to Unicron. Also this is not related to the bay films, it’s a sequel to Bumblebee and a complete reboot, it’s why the designs are so different from the Bay films and would contradict way to many things in the other films. Yup. Of all the movies that released in 2023, this was one of them. Bumblebee was my favorite Transformers movie before this one, but ROTB easily takes the cake now. The sad part is a lot of people are hating on the movie, and it's the lowest grossing Transformers movie so far (it made less money than Bumblebee, the previous lowest grossing Transformers movie). Why? I don't know. This was the best Transformers movie so far, and I say that as a lifelong fan of the franchise who grew up with the Bayverse.

Also a GI Joe/ Transformers crossover has been in the works since 2015 I believe but due to the bayverse going down the toilet it was put on hold until the could get the franchise back on track

This is in another universe this isn’t cannon to the other transformer movies except the solo bumblebee Christmas movie so everything u know about the other transformer movies u can basically forget but loved ur reaction great video btw

I loved this movie when I went to see it. I laughed at some parts, got emotional at others, I got a little bit annoyed at others, too. I wasn't expecting to love Mirage as much as I did, given who his voice actor was, but surprise surprise. The teamwork between the Autobots and the Maximals as they worked together to take down the Terrorcons and Unicron was amazing. I felt my jaw drop when I saw Scourge kill Bumblebee, but I was ecstatic when he made his epic entrance into the fight after being re-energized by all the Energon deposits. Honestly, hearing the voices of Peter Cullen and Ron Perlman in the same movie is way too cool to not love. I give this movie a solid 9/10. Also, I think that Hustler with Noah shit himself when he saw Mirage. 😂😂

So this isn't in the Shia/Mark Wahlberg universe, at least not for now. Michael Bay confirmed is a "fresh start". They are designed after the Gen 1 look from the cartoons/toys. This reboot/timeline begins with the Bubblebee (2018) movie so I wouldnt try to connect it to the older Bay movies even tho he is involved as a producer in this one.

Michael Bay has nothing to do with this movie and never said that since this isn't his universe, hes only producer. Steven Caple Jr is the one directing it, And it's a Reboot

Transformers heights are according to their vehicles sizes. If it is a motorcycle, of course it will be smaller in robot mode. If it is a truck like Optimus, then it will be huge in robot mode.

This Transformers version kinda a reboot, new universe. Bumblebee look different because most of the Transformers design in this movie based on the OG Transformers Generation One.
