The gorilla is Optimus Primal with his Maximals from the Beast Wars cartoon from the late 90's, the Porsche is Mirage, and the bad guys are the Terrorcons. This is a sequel to Bumblebee.

I've never been excited about a Transformers movie before but, a BEAST WARS MOVIE?! HELL YEAH, THERE DAY ONE!!! I just hope we get Waspinator and Rattrap too

so this is a reboot it plays after bumblebee (which i highly recommend to watch) so its not in the bayverse. the animals transformers are descendants of autobots and decepticons maximals are autobot descendants and predacons of decepticons they travel back in time but they get stuck in prehistoric earth in beast wars the maximals: the gorilla is called optimus primal, cheetah is cheetor, the eagle is air razor and the rhino is rhinox
