I really wish I could afford the Haslab figure. I first got into Transformers with Beast Wars, but it wasn't long before I started reading about G1 online and tracking down the Rhino VHS releases of it in 1999. I got really into G1, but couldn't get toys from it. Then I read that Car Robots was being brought to the US. It wasn't G1, but it was the closest thing to it I had access to. Saved up my allowance for month and bought the entire first wave at once. The Spychangers, the Autobot Brothers, the Predacon three-pack, Sky-Byte, Megatron, Optimus Prime, and Ultra Magnus. I later got a lot of the others, some of the toy-exclusive characters, all the parts of Ruination, got Scourge for Christmas. Sadly only got half the Build Team and none of the Trains. I even remember emailing Hasbro and recieving replacement tires for Optimus since in less than a year the ones he came with split. I have so much nostalgia for the series even though I initially just collected it as a replacement for G1.

I have them all from RID toyline. Had to get replacement tires for my Optimus since 6 months after I got him they tore in half. I noticed many that got Ultra Magnus theirs yellowed a lot over time but mine still has its white color scheme on him. Im glad I pitched in for the Haslab Toys cuz I WANT THEM! Sadly im dissapointed in the Legacy Sideburn cuz it lacks the Viper look
