Transformers: Top 10 Sword/Blade Wielding Transformers (Movie Rankings) 2018

Top 10 Sword & Blade wielding Transformers in the movies. Strongest, power level, swordsman, ranking, youtube. Whether they're being used for honor or downright destroy. The sword has been the all time benchmark of melee weapons. And the Transformers are no stranger when it comes to impaling eachother with serrated Cybertanium metal. What's up you guys? My name is RBG and I'm bringing you my list of the top Sword/Blade weilding Transformers. Originally I wanted to make this list exclusive to the Swordsmen of the TF Bayverse. But unfortunately there aren't enough sword wielders in the live action films to go around. So we'll just have to make due with worhty candidates who still know how to cut loose with their own unique blades. But anyways the Cybertronians may prefer guns and missiles but the sword is a powerful weapon used by both Autobots and Decepticons. With that said let's see who's the most cutting edge robot. I'll be basing my ranking on how much each robot uses their weapon. And how effective they are with their techniques.

There is a moment where Dino uses those blades! At the climax of Dotm, when the Autobots charge the pillars, in the background, Dino can be seen stabbing a Con, twirling and spinning with him still impaled on his blade, throwing him to the ground. then he gets atop him and, with his other blade, finishes him off. A move that was pretty badass and I'd even say graceful.

Yeh don't ever doubt or stop. I could listen to you about anything really, you keep the eyes occupied with good editing and the ears soak in the information which is well presented. I'm glad these comments help, take it how you want of course but I spend HOURS on youtube a day, so I do know my way around a fair chunk of the content on here and the stuff you do will stand the test of time trust me. In comparison, if I listen to a top 10 by Looper, I want to tear my ears off by the end of it. It's a shame the good content isn't always the popular content doesn't always get the credit it deserves but Stay true to your style.

Best TF swordsman in the movies, is Optimus Prime in my opinion. But the best TF swordsman in general in my opinion is either Starscream from TF Armada, Megatron from TF Animated, IDW Drift, or either Aligned Optimus or Megatron.

I think Sentinel Prime kind of competes with Drift, or he may down right just be the strongest swordsman from the movies. In DotM, when we get to see Sentinel fight, he manages to do it pretty dam well, especially if we add the fact that he's using a double-bladed sword, which I imagine is very difficult to use. I also think my claim is pretty much backed up by his fights in DotM, the man manages to fight the team of Autobots and bested Optimus Prime in a fight, even though he died in the end.

5:48 actually there are plenty of scenes where Dino/Mirage can be seen chopping up Decepticons with his blades, you just have to look out for him in the background of the Chicago battle.

I have to agree with this list, all are impressive in their own ways. Even though Optimus didn't make number one on this list I am still happy that he did make the list anyway, it's okay that he ranked number two so that Drift could get number one. To be honest I actually thought that Optimus is just as skilled with a sword as Drift is even with 2 of them, but the video is still impressive and I still love it. Keep up the great work!

I would have excluded bumble bee. Although he only uses his hammer in the last film and its not technically a blade. Bee was able to hold his own against Optimus with his Hammer. He also used his hammer a lot in WW2 with hotrod

Good list btw! I would have put Sentinel somewhere on this list though. His shield was primarily the reason he lasted ao long, but damn did he put that Primax blade to great use against his former Autobots. Dude was putting on work with that thing.

I know it's been said by many people already, but I'd also have added Sentinel Prime. Only because he almost bested Optimus in combat (even if Optimus appeared to he holding back). In fact he would have won that fight if it wasn't for Megatron. Maybe instead of limiting your lists to only the top ten, you could add one or two honorable mentions either after number 2 or before number 10? I love your videos though, keep up the good work.

I would think Optimus would be #1 because of the many kills he's gotten with that sick blade and Sentinel Prime also deserves a place on the list, In the third movie, he knocked Optimus down in ease and almost killed him, then at the end of the movie, sliced Optimus' arm off. Optimus used his swords more because he was in all the films... if Drift was here from the beginning, he would have a lot more kills, mainly because he uses ONLY swords.... and that's 1 more reason for me to let him have the #1 spot, because he doesn't use guns of any kind, and still fights as good as the other autobots...he's a frickin' samurai, swordmaster, and that's what makes him so cool

Really liked this top 10 it really gets me thinking about how ultra magnus used a hammer or grimlock using a mace so many different fighting styles but there is reason why drift calls Optimus sensei I think they fought on cybertron but I bet drift could easily kill everyone around him except Optimus.
