One thing I appreciate with Jobby is his ability to weave his brand of irreverent batshit comedy into the review process itself. It doesn't feel like something out of place or like it's something you could remove without changing the end result. It feels like it's supposed to be there. The pumpkin color scheme is a reference to the 2010 Takara universal dominator unicron figure. It’s just the armada unicron with that color scheme. It’s also the unicron I chose to display

I actually prefer the pumpkin colors to the other 2 versions. I never liked the color scheme of Unicron and I love orange and black/dark grey, so that would absolutely be the version I would get.

On the topic of Unicron, I got to talk to Gregg Berger (Grimlock) and Paul Eiding (Preceptor) about their experience with Orson Welles, Unicrons va. Both told just about the same story, the cast wasn't allowed to be around the guy. They both told about how when he would arrive to record his lines, they where all taken to a separate room in the studio, and from there, they'd watch a limo pull up, his driver would get out and take a wheelchair out for him, and in he went in order to record Unicron lines. Jobby has more 3rd party Unicron repaints than shits given by Orson Welles about the part.

I opted for the Pumpkin. I absolutely love its color scheme especially since im not too much of a G1 purist. Also, i noticed that pumpkin had a smoother transformation than everybody seemed to have with the original cell. I would suspect some tolerance fixes took place. Anyway, great review, Jobby!

I thought Pumpkin was accurate until I saw the Cell 2.0 (didn't know it was a thing until now). Pumpkin seems to be more accurate to some of the artwork for him as well as some shots from the movie. Unfortunately the movie was much better than the cartoon in terms of consistency but it still wasn't perfect. I noticed that the white face and hands were always consistent but the orange and grey kind of moved between Pumpkin and Cell 2.0 though out the movie, primarily the final battle.

I started collecting Transformers figures when kingdom released and saw your amazing reviews, (loved beast wars) you got me into the hobby, and I am grateful. now when I see your reviews and listen to the transformation music it reminds me when I got my first transformers from the mail... it is an amazing memory, it made me feel like a kid again. when I was growing up my family had little to no money, so whenever I wanted a toy for my birthday or Christmas I received a knock off toy of the brand (I knew what we where going through and I was grateful) So now that I make my own money I can buy myself some transformers toys.
