I think it was exceptional, genuinely one of the greatest TF stories in terms of action and characters and lore. On top of that, as a History major, the things it had to say metatextually with regards to colonialism and imperialism were thesis-worthy. Barber knocked it out of the park with giving IDW 1 the sendoff it deserved.
