I believe currently Trypticon is just some mindless Titan that Metroplex had to defeat in the past and then again in recent times with the new "city speaker"... God I miss the 80s.

This was my favorite mission in WFC for sure (and one of my favorites in all of gaming). So amazing. I'll never forget the moment I realized what this "satellite" truly was. It's also (in my opinion) the hardest level besides the final fight with Trypticon, but that level is just really a bossfight and nothing more. This level was massive and just downright amazing. It really made you feel like an elite squadron in an all out war.

Such a terrifying and fitting voice for Trypticon. A monster whose exact origin is a mystery, and thus adds to the terror of his existence. The moment you reach him, he holds such a powerful, and frightening presence you can't help but shudder a little bit because you're afraid he's going to eat you, or something. He's like the cybertronian equivalent of Smaug the dragon here. Especially with how they build up his inevitable reveal as a transformer. That thing is a force of nature that has every right to be feared. I know I was unnerved when I first played this for myself. Which means High Moon at least did that right with him.XD

That would have been a sick moment! When it comes to taking out the Satellite or they face heavy forces on the inside, Silverbolt calls for the rest of the Aerialbots and cue a hell of an entrance, they merge but before anything happens, that's when we get Trypticon to reveal himself, transform and suddenly even Superior doesn't know what to do looking at this behemoth.

Wouldn't work. They've already fucked with the lore to the point that Optimus is a war criminal, Starscream is the leader of Cyberton. Cyberton was apparently an evil colonialist, imperial empire. Robots have genders now and Combining is an addiction and the robots involved don't want to disengage... I'm glad I went and bought a hard copy of this and FoC.
