How would you fix the kibbles?..it would have been easy for them to fix them by having the back flap fold in somehow...maybe even have it fold into some sort of back pack..it spoils the figure, it looks great in the box though :-D

i think the show came after the toys were designed. if i remember correctly, the show was only in the early production stages when hasbro already had the working designs and models for the characters. a case of the movie/show being based off of the toys, which was how Transformers actually started in the 80s, with toys coming in first, and the cartoons were created to market the toys.

Personally I think that battle damage looks nice, and gives an aura of “The last day before the Ark launches” feel. Going to be using nail polish remover on the thighs to get rid of that “copper” though

Veenita Dwivedi maybe if it were done properly the worn out look could have been great. but with the budget hasbro had on figures like this, the weathering effects really don’t look great

Might want to go with alcohol over polish remover, maybe if it's acetone-free it will be ok. If not, it will degrade and eat into the plastic.

Guessing that the paint app quality also varies (like the crap QC of everything else); I just picked up Hound & Sideswipe. I've seen reviews of them, and the battle damage seemed pretty minimal on both. But, on *my* copy of Sideswipe, the black panels on the front of his calves actually look like they were always silver and someone tried a blackwash. Which looks pretty cool. As for Optimus...he seems like a great addition to an Optimus collection.

@@skyspeeder1974 Without going into too much detail, if basically has to do with how many international trade & safety standard hoops you have to jump thru first. The US is much more strict than the Philippines, with Europe being even stricter than the US. I imagine the time it takes to ship worldwide plays a factor as well.

Honestly this figure is great, the only downside to this is the paint, the unnecessary panel lines, the wheels on the sides of his body, and the "short" smoke stacks. Also besides the axe not going all the way through the hand, I think this is great since it's going for the g1 look.

no prob, yeah, that's the reason i go robot to vehicle mode. glad i was able to help :-) in fact, transforming from vehicle to robot is easy, anyone can pull apart parts, but transforming from robot to vehicle mode and putting things together... now that's skill!

I really hope someone does a mod for the back pack to somehow make it a little more compact on bot mode and on vehicle mode the option to recess the lights of the top panel so that the "classic" 4 dot top lights can also be seen in vehicle mode.

I love this figure the only thing I hate is how they dirtied him and Megatron up but other than that this is a good figure and very complex in the transformation especially the upper body but I am excited about this line I just hate when parts snap off during transformation like Hound who I keep in jeep mode most of the time because I get tired of dealing with that.

I ordered some labels for him and siege Megatron to dress them up and make them look even better from toy hax and I love what I did and it's a big improvement and makes it a lot easier to forgive Hasbro for the ridiculous ugly splotching they put on both figures.
