Definitely a better representation of the character. I do love the old leader class figure (I have it both in the hasbro and Takara Deco) but this one will take it’s place in my collection. A small nitpick for me is the lack of a Decepticon symbol in the forehead, but that can be fixed

I always wondered why we never got an updated version of ROTF Voyager Starscream: cleanest jet mode (if it weren't because of the gimmicky arms) and a decent robot mode that could easily be improved. In any case... God, is MPM-10 Starscream so beautiful in Robot Mode

I saw two at my local target yesterday. I was shocked to see it since I have never seen a masterpiece figure in the wild since toys r us closed (I'm in central Texas). I wasn't going to pick it up because I was pretty happy with the studio series figure and its so damn expensive. I changed my mind as I was walking away, thinking when the heck am I ever going to see a new masterpiece figure at one of my local stores and I am not disappointed with my decision. One thing I'd like to say is that this figure seems way more solid than some of my other masterpiece figures (my wheeljack's wing snapped off from a 2ft fall onto carpet and has cracks in some joints) and after many transformations I am not concerned about breaking this one, which is a relief as I am the type who really likes to do the transformations every time I mess with a transformer toy.

Not gonna lie, I dislike the Bay movies, but I cannot deny, that this Starscream design is amazing! I love it, the claws and shape of the body make him look like a bird of prey which is perfect for him!

I agree. I really like that this Starscream is the F-22 Raptor (your birds of prey reference makes sense!) which is this generation's superior fighter whilst the original Starscream was an F-15 which is the air superiority jet of that generation. I don't really like it when Starscream is an inferior air-to-air jet. It really makes more sense learning that the reasoning for Starscream's dorito shape and chicken legs is to give him a shorter appearance whilst acknowledging the overall mass the large F-22 would have compared to Optimus' truck.

I’d recommend buying the Wei Jiang Hide Shadow if you want an MP style Blackout. Its in scale with the masterpiece line and the engineering is basically the same as the studio series Blackout

I have the leader figure. From comparison pictures they are the same size in the alt mode. But the mpm is much bigger in the robot mode. I generally only care about the alt mode. However because the leader class alt mode is better looking will actually display this in the robot mode (when i get my hands on one). I was able to transform the leader class to robot mode and back again without any instruction. Its been years since ive actually handled it. I cant imagine doing that with the MPM

I think the lack of a waste swivel just has to do with how this version of Starscream is designed. But from what I’ve been seeing, it looks like you can use the butterfly joints to kinda make up for the lack of a waste joint

Hi @optibotimus! You missed a step that would solve that shoulder issue. You forgot to unfold those two pieces in the cockpit. Doing so will attach those pieces to the brown abdomen pieces.
