I feel your pain on the cat front. My cat liked to play with the Siege Targetmasters and blast effects. One day I lost 4 hours looking for blow pipe, I eventually found it under an end table which I've discovered is one of her favorite hiding places when she's able to knock one of my figures off the shelf.

I used it from TLK bumblebee, I had two so I had an extra I could use, I don’t know if clunker bee would work because I think the head sculpt is smaller, tlk is the exacts same size as 2007 bee

I think at this point we're kind of reaching near-perfection for Generations-scaled Bumblebees. With this one, they've now managed to get those front-of-rear-fender bits actually properly on the front of the thighs, they've slimmed down the calves to be more proportionate, they've gotten the forearms to be properly thick, they got the door wings to angle, they got the chest to be about as accurate as possible; the main issue to solve now is figuring out how to fold and hide away the front wheels so they're not sticking off the back as visibly as the door wings.

If there's one thing I will always remember from the '07 Transformers movie, it's Bumblebee's new Camaro mode! I absolutely fell in love with that car the instant I saw it on screen! And even more thrilled when they said they would make the same Camaro in real life (I'd love to buy one but it is a bit expensive for me at this time... maybe one day) I still have the original deluxe class Bumblebee from the original toy line, aside from the inaccurate head, he's very cool. And the new Studio Series looks great, even if they made quite a few of him in this line, they should have added a second head or at least of removable battle mask, but that's about the only complaint I have about this new figure, great job Hasbro for this whole line, one of the best so far! And thank you Paul for another great review!

I feel like one thing that could have been done with this bee to alleviate the face mask complaint, because a lot of people do want to see a good version of Bee's eyes, is maybe a retool of the masterpiece 2007 Camaro Bumblebee, Realistically speaking, that mold was one of the best we got with a functioning face mask that didn't have to be attached. I will definitely be getting this figure (I'm basically the Grievous of Bumblebees), but there are a few things that I wish they would have improved on, the biggest being the knee joints being in the backs of his legs. For comparison, I have the Battle Blades Optimus that I bought a while ago, and the knees on that figure just look so much better to me than a lot of the knee molds for the studio series collection. The wheel parts of Bee's "wings" i wish had been kept as a retool from the studio series Bees from before. I know they were going for movie accuracy, but the way they stick out is just really janky to me. Other than that, my only real issue is the triangle bits of the wings (Which I still like because they're much shorter than TLK Premier Edition Bee) and the differing paint applications, but that's much more forgivable on this Bee than some of the others.

Firstly, congrats on obtaining one. The struggles in finding some figures can be tough. I had issues with the panels not sitting flush in vehicle mode, mainly the sides. I found that my problem was me not pushing his foot towards the grey rod piece end enough. It may not help you out, but thought i'd share my experience. Take care.

It would be cool if it was the concept camaro because that’s what it was in the movie except the one that we get in packaging is the production model you can tell by the back bumper and the door handle and also the color of the yellow you being a camaro owner though you would have been able to tell that

optibotimus again your missing the point the 2007 Camaro concept was what was used in the movie. the figure however does not use that car concept most likely because hasbro wasn’t legal able to use the concept design anymore look at the bumper of the figure it is clearly the 2010-2013 production Camaro The concept car didn’t have the two little rectangles on the back bumper which are the reverse lights where are the production car did. I’m not say that this robot of bumblebee isn’t suppose to be the 2007 movie bumblebee but the car mode is based on the production car which started its run in 2010. If you don’t believe me go look at pictures of the concept car compared to the production car and also compare the colors and you will see that this figures vehicle is not the one from the movie which is unfortunate.

Optibotimus, I had the same Bumblebee and I had difficulty with the same door in the same manner. On his feet, there is a tab on one foot, with a little slot on the other. I think they are supposed to help with the problem, but I couldn’t for the life of me get them to work.

I do have most of Bumblebee's. Why no metallic paint smh... This one does look more movie accurate, the transformation definitely. Bumblebee looks nice except, his front bumper is not Concept, it's production SS version, it's missing the mail slot also. This reminds me of ROTF Bumblebee having a ZL1 front bumper.
