We won't always get a 2nd chance at a brand new retail item from 3+ years ago but it looks like Hasbro Pulse will be shipping out Transformers War For Cybertron Siege Commander Class Jetfire to hit stores in early 2023. We jump into the finance of it and why you should get this amazing figure.

They need to re-release Metroplex, Omega Supreme, Sky Lynx, and voyager coneheads but add or fix some of their articulations like ankle, wrist, and waste joints.

Skylinx was just reissued 2 weeks ago. I didn't manage to see him on a shelf, but most of the scalpers still have him only marked $10-20 above shelf price, which isn't too bad compared to how much they usually mark them up after they start to dry up... (I really don't like the idea of supporting scalpers, but these days, it's sometimes unavoidable.)

I love my jet fire it's one of my favorite toys but when I got mine it was a reissue from Big Bad Toy Store so I don't know if that was a issue with their stock but you know what you're talking about keep up the good work 💯

That’s great. If their was one figure I like a reissue of, it would be Astrotrain, I only saw him once in stores and we have a mega toy store in smyhts UK. And he is a crazy price now.

With that Galaxy Shuttle on its way, I wouldn't bet on a return of Siege Astrotrain in the near future. But he's sure to get a new and smoother mold in the Studio Series in the next couple of years.

I really hope Hasbro reissues Siege Skywarp, for now, Hot Link is his stand in on the pre-earth look, but it would be nice to actually have a Skywarp that pre-earth, in the form they used, but I doult it, I mean, he just suddenly showed up without any one saying he was coming out and the price was just crazy, even now, last I checked the price was silly for a voyager class

Preordered mine on BBTS today since I passed him up during Siege. At that time, I had no idea how quickly things would change with collecting and prices. I just thought the good times would continue to roll. I like Legacy, but it’s nothing like the early days of the WFC trilogy. 5:50 Protoman is right on the money here. A figure with this much heft won’t exist again at this price.

Yeah. I remember when Kingdom debuted, Walmart had a huge action alley display with dozens of figures. But with Legacy, they're only ever putting out one case at a time. Which means that even general release figures can be hard to get at retail ( like Studio Series Perceptor)

@@daviddalrymple2284 I feel like it’s only going to get harder to find mainline Legacy and Studio Series figures at retail because of store exclusives. Even with the weird trends in distribution recently, I’ve been able to spot new waves at Walmart or Target; however, my Walmart is currently packed with Velocitron deluxes (not Cosmos or Clampdown), and my Target is full of Buzzworthy figures. I’ve yet to see anything from mainline Legacy wave 2 or the more recent SS figures.

I missed out on Grimlock because of lockdown, but am loving the other two dinobots. I'm really hoping for a rerelease, a premium finish, or new version so I can complete my set. It really seems they could do a King Grimlock version with slightly different coloring with a sword and crown instead of Wheelie.

Honestly to get more use out of the molds I think they'll do G2 colour versions, including the missing two figs that never got the G2 treatment. I would buy Swoop on his own purely for that lol.

Just got my Jetfire yesterday. I never for a second thought I would display him with his armor since it makes him not look like he looks in the show, and it looks bad in the promo photos, but in person, it actually looks really cool on him, so now I'm conflicted, lol!

This is actually the second time they have reissued him. The first was in late 2020, after the Netflix show premiered. That's how I got mine.

I paid 50 pounds and Iwould have been happy to have paid 90 pounds as he is absolutely wonderful. I paid 90 pounds for the SG version and he is also worth every penny. I'm so glad that people who missed this guy can get him at a sensible price again.

Didn't Hasbro recently release a Shattered Glass version of Jetfire? My guess is Hasbro saw the positive response of the SG version, saw the scalpers delight in over charging for it and figured there was still some money on the table. Since the mold is already in use, it probably didn't cost much to switch from SG to original recipe. I got lucky and got one the first time around. I hope it is successful enough Hasbro/Takara might try it with more of the figures that got caught up in the supply chains/pandemic noise.

If Hasbro wants to sell more of this mold, then they should re-release the Shattered Glass version too. Is this worth $90, that's for you to decide. I was lucky to get this during the Amazon Black Friday sale. I am all for Hasbro reissuing some of these blink and you missed them toys....sure we'll pay a little bit more for them, but better than paying those scalper prices.

I got 2 of these when it first released as I wanted both skyfire and jetfire to display, I love this figure so much, touch wood neither of mine have yellowed. The customizablitly with the weapon ports and sixgun, if I had this guy has a kid man I would have played with him to death. Great bot if you missed out the first time get him!

When is this guy scheduled for release? Because I was really wanting to snag this guy but just couldn't financially fit him in at the time, and lost my chance to do so when I could obscenely-quickly. I don't want to lose that chance this time, especially when he's only five bucks more expensive when he originally released, which is still a deal compared to scalper prices.

I’m hoping for more reissues like this in the future. I want Siege Skywarp, Sky Lynx, Omega Supreme, COSMOS! I mean seriously, Cosmos is sold out and he is not available in every WalMart I’ve been too and scalpers are everywhere. Cosmos needs reissued on Pulse. And there’s a lot of Studio Series figures I want reissued too, Bonecrusher in his regular colors would be nice, BB Cliffjumper, Topspin Leadfoot and Roadbuster need to be in a 3-pack, and maybe 46 Dropkick by himself would be nice.

They're definitely going to try to find a way to bring back Cosmos. They'll probably do a minor repaint (adding in the yellow border on his chest, for example) and release him as a Generations Select figure.
