It turned out great. The paint and stain combination is perfect. Those handles are what caught my eye. Those handles really brought it up to a more modern look. A lot of work went into this flip, but with a very impressive design. This really was an amazing before & after.

Looks great! The only change i think i would make is the 9 inch vertical handles. I'm not sure i like those. I think it would have given a much cleaner look. With a nice knob instead. I do like the handles on the drawers though.

Just a tip. When you scrape off the chemical paint stripper it’s a good idea to use mineral spirits to stop the chemical reaction of the stripper~ then use water to help neutralize the surface BEFORE sanding. Sanding without doing this isn’t a good idea because it can damage the wood surface. If you did use mineral spirits already, I apologize that you already knew. B~}

Beautiful transformation! I love the color and the hardware. I have a QUESTION. Several yrs ago I bought some pine unfinished furniture. At that time, I didn't know anything about anything. I just slapped a couple of coats of paint on them. Now I am seeing significant bleed through especially where the knots are. Can I just put a coat of primer over the whole thing and then a new coat of paint, or do I have to strip off the old paint first? TIA.

It looks great. But I wish you had taken more care with the corners when you added the trim pieces. They’re a big gaps where the corners don’t come together. Those should’ve been filled. It would’ve looked more finished and professional. But overall, it looks nice.

For me, I think the trim pieces are gorgeous. Yes they are dated, but they are also what we call vintage. You don’t seem much like that anymore, I’m wondering why you didn’t try to highlight it just a little bit to make it stand out from this otherwise gorgeous piece?
