I’ve had furniture recovered and in many cases it is less expensive to buy new than recover some old thing. If you already own it and the piece means something to you then recover it.
@Kevin-sm8pn2 жыл бұрын
I've had furniture recovered and it's always been free, including the fabric! You just have to know where to look and who to kidnap! And where to dispose of the bodies afterwards.

Wow, gorgeous! (as always) Really great, useful space now! The only thing I would change is the coffee table - it's too big, too bulky, and has too many sharp corners. Remember, they had LITTLE kids, one just walking. Which means little heads may come into contact with the furniture. Ouch. Not enough room around the coffee table to move, really. A round or oval coffee table might have fit the bill better, IMO.
@judyfenske14293 жыл бұрын
I do not use a coffee table, for just that reason, no ease of walking.

It's beautiful, love the storage ideas. Carpet in the basement for me though - NO! What if you have a sewer back-up? What if your basement floods from a broken water pipe or a burst pipe from the water heater or even, Heaven forbid, flooding outside that pours in through the basement windows? With our climate changing, never count out that you could get a flooded basement.
@AbodeHomeChannel3 жыл бұрын
Great idea! But wouldn't you rather have a comfy carpet under your feet on all those days there isn't a flood? Way more chance of no flood than flood...

Sarah..you MUST stop sharing the result at the beginning of your shows! Why, I ask myself, would I feel compelled to watch the show if you have already showed me the result?? There is now no dramatic tension!

Omg all the things we were told NOT to do in 2000s lolz. This sure is an old show. RED really???? That big print for childrens play area curtain is a big no no. Should hv just stuck with the same print curtains. Too much red even with colors coming back in fashion in 21' 22'

You know all of that can easily be changed, right? It's not like curtains and picture frames are permanent, lol.

I loved the redo and the use of red! But I don't get the room. Ivory walls, white sofa, white in the fabric, light carpet? Curtains, accessories, and a TV on a low console? First of all, the kids will have it dirty and destroyed in a week The TV can fall on them, and all the glass bowls, wicker balls will be ruined. I wouldn't get a chair from the trash. Covid, pet urine, roaches, bedbugs? Nasty is right!
@thehungrygoldfish3 жыл бұрын
Sell the kids and move on. God. if your kids are that bad, just get rid of them.
@janewasson48453 жыл бұрын
@@thehungrygoldfish it's not that the kids are necessarily bad, it's just the decor is wrong for kids that age.
@thehungrygoldfish3 жыл бұрын
@@janewasson4845 OK, then why have anything to begin with? Save all that money and give them nothing since they will break everything anyone. Give them a mattress and a pillow and a blanket and move on.
@janewasson48453 жыл бұрын
@@thehungrygoldfish No reason to be extreme. Just childproof fun areas, protection, easily cleaned surfaces, washable paint, and reasonable colors. Not light colors, designer decor, and a TV placed where it can fall on a child. Just common sense decor for and around kids.
