Nancy lost her husband nine years ago and has been chronically depressed ever since and struggles with lack of motivation. She has also had shoulder surgery recently which has just made matters worse. Her kitchen has been an overwhelming task for her and she needed a reset. In this video, I will be washing a lot of dishes, clearing out drawers and cupboards and reorganizing the contents.

Bonnie please don't compare yourself to others! There's no need to apologize and the people who can understand your words with the kind intent they were meant with, are the people here who stay to come back and watch you! We could all learn tremendously from your kind heart and selfless acts that you share. I promise that your work is not going without recognition and support, it is truly invaluable what you do Bonnie! The mental health awareness that you spread is also so important to so many people and to the amazing community you've built on yt. You're making a kinder world and one that sees people through less judgement.

Agreed 💯 percent. The top stars simply delete and block the commenter. You are becoming a star now. The channel sells itself which means you. Just edit if you want or keep it if you want. Reasonable viewers make your audience so anyone that does it is out on the 3rd offense. As a matter of fact you can delete me. I'm annoying and will still watch you clean, subscribe, and like haha. ❤😎, G

Thank you, Becki! I wish I could tell people to watch the ads because, you're right, that is the main way we make money on KZbin, but I understand being bugged by the ads. It's nice that KZbin has made some non-skippable ones so we usually get paid at least a little bit even when people skip the other ads. I do try to watch as many ads as I can on the channels I watch because I know it helps them and it's only a minute of my life. I usually just have their videos going on in the background while I'm doing something else anyway, so it's no big deal to let the ads run. I really appreciate you knowing that and appreciate you putting up with the ads because I know they can be annoying. 😜Every once in awhile I do find one that hooks me.😄

Trashing someone is called making a Splash. It's really bad how many people are negatively affected. It is exponential how it spreads or ripples before things calm down. If one person does it because of their disorder, I'm thinking NPD's, they are compelled to trash people. We must be No Contact with NPD's because they cannot exist and not make Splashes. They are not fixable, so No Contact is the only way. It's not you Bonney and btw Mac deletes anything but simple praise comments and you can too.

As an 8 year widow from a 42 year marriage, who uses her warming drawer to hold all my lids; the grieving depression is real. The excess of kitchen essentials is because she moved out of her home and had to downsize into the apartment. Loosing her home after loosing her husband is alot to bare. So many others advised me to move from my home, but I'm glad I stayed put. I hope your client finds a therapist and starts to find some peace. Do you also have dreams about redoing High School as you are now, knowing that everyone has their own issues even when they look like they have it all together, even the popular kids? I would be so much less concerned about my awkwardness and try to go out of my way to find those who are struggling. I always try to remind my kids that everyone is too busy worrying about how to fit in, so however awkward they might feel at this time, everyone else is in the same boat and it gets much better after high school. I guess I should say for most people it gets better. There are still quite a few adults who are bullies and need to grow up and they can make life difficult for their peers, but, generally speaking, adulthood is better than High School.😊

Please know that many KZbinrs struggle over staying motivated due to discouraging analytics. What I have found is: as long as they remain authentic, that if they do what makes them happy KZbinrs, people are happy to watch. As for views and subscribers, you should be aware that KZbin has been experiencing technical issues across the board. One KZbinr I've watched for years suddenly had videos disappear, another had 100's of videos that suddenly showed ZERO views. Please don't always assume it is you and your content Bonnie, you do a great job!

Thank you for sharing that. I am also hearing that some people are being inundated with political ads, which are never fun to watch, so they click off of those as soon as they possibly can, so that may be part of the reason for the drastic drop in ad revenue is because of this being an election year (here in the U.S. - not sure where you're at). Super frustrating, but at least there is a little validation in knowing it's not just me and I just need to stick with it and hope next year will be much better. Thanks so much for your support!

I was watching a video that said it had zero views that had 41 thumbs up how is that even possible so you know it’s messed up. In general, these things are not very expensive. If you happen to run out of Tupperware one day, you can simply buy some. I now throw away containers without lids or lids without containers. No more “Oh, I could use this at some point”. If the plastic is discolored or smells strange, I throw it away too. There's one drawer for Tupperware and if something no longer fits in there, I have to decide what can go. It needed years until I realized that I'm not that poor to be forced to keep everything.

@janlyda9964 I'm always shocked to find people who don't know Mack before they know me, but I will take that as a compliment! As Jayne and Lisa said, Mack is from Midwest Magic Cleaning. He is autistic, like me, and has a very quirky, sometimes morbid sense of humor, which I very much relate to, but is also extremely well-spoken on issues of mental health, particularly hoarding, and has been a mentor ever since our collaboration last October. He's a great guy, but can take some getting used to since he's a little off the wall. 😅

It's also so nice to hear the voice of an autistic woman in this space. As someone whose struggle with neurodivergence has affected my ability to keep my house orderly and clean using NT approaches, it's so helpful to see and hear someone with a perspective closer to my own talk about cleaning and organizing. Mack is great, but he's too tall to see things from my perspective, lol. 😜 Seriously though, the absolute joy you derive from making things clean, and your wholesome kindness and openness are a comfort and inspiration. Keep being you.

Great Job Bonnie. You are such a special gift for people in need of help. I know it is not environmentally friendly... but it would do her good to reduce her kitchen wear down to a normal amount and then buy "one-use" paper plates, cups, wood cutlery, and paper towels, so that when she is having a "crippling depression phase" where she has no energy to clean up, she can use the one-use stuff and just throw them in the bin... that will dramatically reduce the amount that piles piling up!

fellow bathroom stall girl here.....I actually thought I was the only one. I feel so much better knowing that you struggled in high school too. as you are just so perky and motivated and you seem good with people. I struggled all through school even when I was young, I couldn't understand how kids could be so mean and used to wonder how their parents could love them hahahaha.....I think there are quite a lot of moments in adult life that bring those difficult moments back to us in a flash. Now I work in primary schools as a nurse and I can spot those miserable kids in a second, it feels so good to be able to brighten their day by remembering their name and saying something nice. We each have the power to make other humans feel better or worse as they are going about their day. I feel you have a special ability to make people feel better and maybe that's why you started your channel. It's not just the people with messy homes that you are helping, it's your subscribers too. If Mack quit youtube I'd be disappointed but I'd get over it in a minute...if you quit youtube I'd be sad for ages!!!!

Oh my goodness. Thank you so much for your kind words.🙏 I am in shock how many people have commented that they were also the bathroom stall "residents" in High school. I knew there must be a few out there, but I did not expect there to be so many. It took me years to find my confidence after high school and I still fake it a lot, but out of those experiences are born empathetic people, like yourself, who can spot and look out for those like us. I'm thankful there are kind people like you out there looking out for the outcasts. 🫶

@@ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wp you're right that our struggles make us empathetic towards others and even though school was such a struggle it did make me a stronger person. I was so determined to be a nurse that I stuck it out to the end and still remember my last day vividly. Needless to say I didn't attend the end of year ball or graduation ceremony lol.... I got what I needed and spread my wings. Nursing school was so different as my peers were caring and empathetic and I really found my place in the world. But there are still those awkward social moments in life where my first instinct is to find the bathroom! It's nice to know there's a whole bunch of us 😊😊

Oh my!!!!!😊 I just found your wonderful video and almost cried!😢 I am a 72 year old widow with many health problems that interfere with my life! Your sweet voice and advice has encouraged me!😊 Before my husband of 45 years died (12-12-14), we lived in a two story townhouse with three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and a garage, which we used for storage instead of a vehicle. We downsized to a one bedroom apartment just 7 days before my husband died! 😢 I had to put a lot of stuff in storage from the townhouse and gave lots of furniture, etc. away! Since July 2021, I have downsized again to a Studio apartment!!! Last year was a very hard emotional time for me with the death of my only sister!😢 I can empathize with the lady going through grief and depression!!! I am having motivational problems on top of the health issues, depression and grief!!!! I feel like I am in a RUT with trying to declutter, donate and organize when I feel overwhelmed! Your video inspired me to try again!!!!! I have watched Mack’ s videos but I much prefer your sweet personality and way of cleaning! 😀 Thanks for all your hard work and inspiration!!!! Oh, Linda, thank you for sharing. 🙏 You've had some hard stuff happen so close together. And dealing with "stuff" is the last thing you want to do when you're grieving. Isn't it a crazy phenomenon that just feeling not alone can give you motivation? That is definitely one unexpected "side effect" of starting this channel. I had no idea that so many people felt so alone in their situation and that bringing awareness to the fact that there are others in similar tragic situations can just give you a little boost of strength to get through it. I initially just wanted to spread a little kindness, but had no idea it could help people in that way. I'm so glad you shared your story with me and I am praying you can get through your stuff and not feel so overwhelmed. 🥰🙏

To be known is to be loved... of course someone calling you by your name and asking how you're doing is a big deal. I started a new job last year (as a teacher!) and a few months in I was so incredibly stressed. Then some people in the staff room asked me how I was doing and they knew my name and it both surprised me and made me feel at home. I sent roses to all the janitors at Valentine's day and now we're best buds. It can be something really small, but I think being human is made up of those small gestures.

You are an ace at organizing a kitchen! Super job! The lady really does need to edit out a lot of her pots, pans, and dishes and storage items. Blessings

Also, you are super brave to put out your videos & share your real thoughts & feelings here. You do amazing things to help people. That’s why we love watching your videos! ❤I loved your yard work video too. I’m huge into gardening & it makes me happy to see! ❤ High school was really tough for me too, so I can relate. ❤

Also, when life changes that way & you go from your own space to another - decluttering to downsize can be truly difficult (even dishes), like closing a chapter in life you're not ready to let go of. Not sure that this applies here, but it's a scenario. ❤️♾️❤️

You are a good person because you have given someone else (girl in high school) credit for how she made you feel. There are so many people that will never admit to something like that. I really like you and your cleaning style and folding of clothes. Stay positive and you are great.
