I have been so inspired by your creative transformation that I took an old shirt from my husband and made one for myself. I had to take some extra steps to help it fit. I took in the front yoke seam in a diagonal to make the top of the armhole shorter, then gathered 3 inches at the top edge of the shoulders to shorten the shoulder width, then stiched it to fabric tape for strength. I even tried the free motion, but needed to cover up most of it with other trim! Thank you sooo much, Julia!

Hi Pam, Summer has arrived! It's been close to 100' and very windy-ugh! Really unusual for June in MN. I'm getting ready for family coming for the 4th. My daughter will stay with us for a few weeks to get out of the muggy TN weather. Her job allows her to work remote, I'm so excited to have her! Hope you're doing well! Julia
