The roof was polished and ceramic coated, it’s just a difficult area to film on such a large vehicle. And in 9 years of business so far nothing has gone wrong.

how did you find the paintwork on it to work with? I have one in and its an absolute ballache leaving marring behind with softest pad polish on lowest speed. How didnyou tackle it ?

@@NewlookdetailingUk hey buddy, thank you for the reply. I managed last night after going over all my available pads/ polishes combo. I was trying to find a shortcut. I run a detailing business myself, and had a similar experience with a 2022 Range Rover vogue. I had hoped the Defender would be a bit different and started with my usual sonax PF on a yellow rupes (don't know why i was so naive) but their paint is just ridiculous to work with. I ended up with Menzerna 3800 on a white rupes pad reduced polish, increased work area, faster hand movement and machine was on around speed 3. That did it for me under inspection lights both scangrip and snap on after Upol wipedown. I was just baffled how soft and sticky the paint is and was hoping someone out there had maybe found something i didnt. Haha! Are you on insta? I'll drop you guys a follow. We can be ot help to eachother! Always happy to have like minded people around!
