Intergalactic Big Boi If you’re going to start a saltwater tank you should know of a few things number one you can only keep two clown fish in one tank and corals use photosynthesis so the lights that were on their tank would not suffice and corals are pretty sensitive creatures and they can die if any parameters change quickly good luck by the way👍🏽

they would need to massively upgrad the lighting and put in put in proper sump filter to surport coral long term...its a lotof time money and dedication...beginners should stick to fish only tanks

Been waiting for this one🔥 you guys should add some Green Star Polyps and let them grow over all the rocks. They will grow quick, look great and help a little bit with nutrient export. Also, they don’t require a lot of light and they’re very hardy. Also, a blue hippo tang (Dory) would be DOPE in this tank

Air stone cause salt creeping you need a wave maker as well to kee the water moving to prevent protein happening on the top of the water and I also recommend a skimmer in the long run

You should get a variable cyclic power head wave maker for the tank. It makes different currents in the tank and is good for anemones and corals / sea fans.

You need a sump/refugiu... canister filter will not work, that why you have soooo much algae on your old tank

If ya wanna see what your tank can turn into check out my tank on my channel. You can see my one year progress. You should drill the tank and add a sump/refugium so you can keep your Protein skimmer, heater, and Macro algae in it. And also, you shpuld just paint the back of the tank. I usually do black cuz it makes your fish and coral pop. But you can do it any color ya want. Use Acrylic paint. You can get it at any arts and crafts store.
