If you want to add some real longevity to your body customization, you might consider covering her hair and using a coat of matte sealant. Most customizers use Mr. Super Clear because it doesn't yellow over time.

I've seen some ppl use matte mod podge to seal their work on barbies. I'm not sure what the longevity of that might be, but it's less toxic than msc.

I agree with you about the Barbie pink zipper bags. I used them too for storage & carrying things in them. 💖💖💯 Yes, the new wave of Barbie Fashionistas need to have made to move bodies. I wonder if the matte mod podge would help with the shiny printing on dolls you like. I still think you'd be great at painting the foods you get from the Barbie packs and other places. Just to make them look more realistic like the custom foods you've made in crafts.

Repainting faces is super intimidating to me 😅 I have not had the best results… some a little scary 😅 I think it is the eyes… but that would be a good skill to practice this year

@MyFroggyStuff I think you can do it. I hadn't painted something in so many years and jumped into it a lot lately. I think the hardest part is just starting and then it will flow. Maybe use stuff you have extras of and can use acetone to clean if you don't like how it turns out.

Yes, because even though they may be more expensive you could choose the ones you truly wanted. If you were to order it online it would be nice if they gave you the option of a made to move version. That way if it were a gift for a young child. The parent for example would not have to pay extra.

Dollar Tree also carries good quality individual "Barbie" fashion doll holders in the toy section. They keep things a lot neater if you don't want your dolls just hanging anywhere.

Hey Toya, you could make a patchwork blanket out of these hand towels, if you have to many of them. It would be a lot of work, but I think it would look good.The pillows are beautiful, and a good way to use these towels. And I absolutely love the pink and blue shoes. By the way, love your videos.

Hi Toya! Love the new apartment. I agree with paying a little extra for made to move bodies. I wish Mattel would listen to the collectors! I will also miss the little bags the fashionistas came in. By the way, the Barbie name inside the fashionista’s bag is removable. A while back, Azusa Barbie used them to create a customized acrylic tissue holder.

Well color me shocked, a new Fashionista with no pixelation! Yay!!! I miss when you didn't have to worry about pixels on Barbies. And yes, I would absolutely pay an extra $5 if the Fashionistas came on Made to Move bodies!!! It would save us all so many headaches! Hey, any chance you can compare the new Made to Move volleyball player with skin tones of past MTM dolls? I'm making a big list of all my Disney dolls that need those bodies and most of them require the first wave pink top that you literally can't find now lol Oh, and FYI, it's totally possible to swap Barbie feet like you do the hands. So I bet you could find a pair of MTM feet in the same skin tone from a regular body so she could wear the shoes. :D You did great on the freckles!!! It looks better than Mattel did! Great job!

Noooooo, not the zipper bags! However, look in the toy section at your local Dollar Tree. I've found slightly wider ones there. Same length but wider. I've managed to place more than two in those while the Mattel bags I could only get 2 in.

They make the fashionistas that come with wheelchairs made to move and the price point is only a few dollars more so i dont understand why they can't make their entire fashionistas line in that body mold too! Man, I'm going to miss the zipper bags. They were so great for storage! What the heck, Mattel?! Why you gotta ruin a good thing? (Honestly,though, the answer to that question is profit. The bags definitely cost more than cardboard and plastic, and we all know Mattel isn't will to give up those few extra cents. It's the same reason they won't make all Fashionistas Made to Move. They know people will pay to get the Fashionista and then the Made to Move body to swap them to.)

I know u reuse and recycle items, but the flooring samples that Lowes, or any home store have them for free and I think it would look neat to use those flooring samples for the floors and maybe even some parts any where's else that see fit. Try it and see how ya like. ❤
