Smiled so much at that dress gift - in more affluent times I used to treat myself to a visit to Gudrens shop in seven dials, and the few clothes that I have still are going strong. Enjoy! Colour and comfort are always best 🙂

Dear Ruby. Just starting to get to know you. I'm enjoying the journey through your videos. It's been soaking rain but warm here today and I'm so thankful as it's been a very dry Winter in our corner of the Southern Hemishere.I love Winter and work hard to see the positives in the hot dry Summer (tomatoes, basil, and other tasty homegrown treats).😊❤

Wow! This is such a cool video! You have such a fun personality, and I love your magical art space. 💖 I could feel at home there. The natural pigment making workshop was so cool! How fun to meet and work together with your artist friend. I'm vegan, too (since 1992). I do eat too many peanut butter and chocolate energy bars and other snacks! 😆 I became vegan because of animal welfare issues. ❤️🐄🐔🐖❤️ I have been healthy and was happy with my weight for about 25 years, but over the past few years I have gained weight. I walk and bike, but I need to get back into strength training, which I did for a few years and it really shaped me up. Your dog is so beautiful! No need to worry about any noise from him. He looks so sweet! 💕🐾 I'm sorry to hear about the EU and your Etsy shop. 😞 I wish I lived close to England - there are so many wonderful places to visit, but for now I enjoy taking virtual trips to the UK and other places on KZbin. 😃 I'm in California, and my favorite season is Winter, but right now it feels more like Spring in the mid 70s F (about 24°C?). 🌞 I look forward to seeing your other videos. Sorry for the long comment, but I really like so many of your interests, too. Take care! 🤍 🪷🕯️🪷🤍

I really enjoyed this video and what you’re sharing! Health is joy, and finding that balance truly is an act of self-love. I’m a WFPB flexitarian (so mostly whole-food, plant-based, low processed, sugar, salt, and oil), but flexible when someone invites me over and offers meat. I’ve embraced this after hearing how monks practice acceptance of what is offered out of love. It’s helped me let go of rigidity and connect better with my family. For me, my WFPB journey is rooted in health and maintaining energy, but I prefer not to have meat around or cook it myself. It’s like love is the highest tier-if my mom prepares meat for a special occasion, I eat it with love and gratitude. Looking forward to more from your channel! Greetings and happy solstice from Virginia, USA!

Would love to see what you are reading in December! So enjoyed your book review video you did. Nice dress you got gifted - I watch her channel too. I love it when you redecorate! I do the same thing - always moving things around. The dogs give me a dirty look when I do it. I'm not a big fan of winter either but we got snow all day yesterday and it is a beautiful winter wonderland outside and so much brighter. Hope we get a lot of snow this year. Last few years we have gotten barely any and it was dark and grey - that is when I curl up with a book. Just finishing up the Wilde Grove series - sad to see it end. Many Blessings from Vermont,USA

Hi Ruby, I'm enjoying your channel. I'm a 67 year old retired English teacher. I was really pleased to hear about your food choices because from my own experience it has changed my life. Woke up 2 years ago unable to get out of bed from the pain in my legs. To cut the story short I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and calcium deposits on my shoulder and hip joints. The meds stopped the pain. I decided to investigate when the doctors told me there was nothing to do but continue with very strong meds. I bought the book Body On Fire and followed it. I have just been given the all clear at the hospital and am walking without the 2 sticks. Exercise and food changes, gave up red meat and gluten, have given me back my mobility. You really are what you eat. Love your channel, subscribed.

11:17 I also prefer older style furniture. I am recently separated and starting over so I just accumulated a new art table and it is more modern than I would like 👀 but the price was right and it will have to do for now LOL.

Always nice to catch up with your creative happenings. Lovely mix of veg in the kitchen. I was eyeing your "scrap" pile. Did you know the massive broccoli stem is edible too? My husband likes it better than the florets. If really woody, a potato peeler easily takes off the stringier outer bits. Of course, the stem bits take longer to cook/steam. Pop the stem pieces in with cauliflower = perfect timing. Or, diced cold, straight into a salad. Just thought I'd share. We pay for the weight anyway and makes for a smaller scrap pile. Good luck at the upcoming Christmas show.

@@CraftyMountainGal thank you lovely for watching and yes I did know that, if I am making stews or soup I use it, and the dog loves eating it too, this one had gone a bit floppy, so I didn’t think t would be so nice in my stir fry, I love dyeing fabric with veg scraps too, have you tried that? You can get some really lovely colours
@CraftyMountainGalАй бұрын
@@DottyDelightful & no one likes a floppy broccoli! ;) I never have veggie dyed anything . . . only tea/coffee stained paper to start some journal pages. I also tried and failed to "stamp" that red cabbage pattern onto paper. Just love its organic patterning.
