Hey friends! Today we are starting the landing makeover with a fresh coat of paint and some new curtains from two pages! I have some plans for this room but we have to start with the basics before we can bring in the good stuff!

Keep the pelmets that you took down, they make lovely shelves, with just a piece of timber added to the top for the shelf part. hope you know what i mean, sounds a bit all over the place haha.

Courtney, that was alot painting. But it was so worth it. The buffet is gorgeous. Those curtains are so beautiful. I like my curtains just above the floors, not touching the floor. Cant wait to see what is gonna hang in there.

Ahh.. always excited for another video!!😁 Lordt you bout gave me a coronary when you pulled that cornice away from the wall.. that wasn't enough! You go climbing over the banister😬😱 Whew I was so glad to see both feet safely on the ground😶 lol you're such a dare devil, not really a "devil" but you know what I'm saying😄 Glad you guys had a nice vacation spending time with family & friends, making memories! Did you get A paint chip in your eye??😉🫣 Obsessed with the 2 matching chairs, beautiful pieces❤ I love using single wood chairs all around my home for decor & ones that are functional as well. The old ones with Upholstery in the beautiful brocade fabrics are my fav! Of course I love solid wood ones too, with ornate wood trim or just plain & chippy. I do have a few i keep covered in decor so no one will sit on them, like i said, i like the "old" ones😁 Lol your son is too cute, with his helmet on, even if it is backwards😄 Thanks so much for sharing your husband talking about Jesus.. its always a blessing to hear someone talk about the Lord! I love the windows in the space also, they're just stunning🤍 And the curtains are beautiful too, with the pretty rod & hooks.. just elevates the look of the room even more! The buffet is so pretty! ❤❤ everything looks beautiful Courtney I was just wondering is your sectional too close to the railing with little boy I always tell my daughter the same thing you know how they like to move around. The room looks stunning Courtney. It still looks slightly on the formal side … hard not to, with those absolutely gorgeous windows … it’s in keeping with everything else, when all is said and done. That was sand in your eye, right? And you’ll never, ever go to Canada, in two cars again … for the sake of picking up furniture! Agreed?!? Nudge, nudge, wink, wink! 😮 I like what you did with the space … you painted the bead board with a slightly different colour of white, yes? That couldn’t have been all sun age ‘n dirt?!? I like the wall colour … still along the pastel tone … and subtle. As I said the windows are beautiful … love linen drapes … and yes, to the floors! Your home will be breathtaking when you eventually go to sell it! Looking forward to part II next week. Love Brad’s enthusiasm and passion for Jesus Christ and having Him in his thoughts. Not so sure those were the thoughts on Yeshua HaMashiach’s mind, at the time of His crucifixion. I feel He had much weightier things on His mind … and more than likely the home on His mind is not the home we all understand. It is worlds apart from ours! God bless! 🙏🙌✝️❤️🇨🇦

Thank you! I agree! hahaha ;) Yes! It is a much brighter white. I am assuming they used a creamier shade of white but I can't say for certain as this area does get a ton of light and it has been a few years since it was painted. The stairway was definitely a bit grimy lol Thank you! Taking it one room at a time but it will be fun one day to do a whole walk through of it "finished" (as is anything ever really finished??) I so agree with you and appreciate your kindness in pointing that out in the kind way you did! God is good! God bless your week my friend!

Haha I do NOT like it that hot lol. Our unit is in the attic and our ceilings our tall and our windows are original so all that adds up to an ac that can’t keep up with the 96+ weather we have been having! 🥵
